Ideal location for visiting area. Friendly welcoming staff excellent food very relaxing stay
Brilliant old coaching inn in a lovely village
The room, loo and chairs were not clean. The bathroom was not clean and there was a lack of attention to detail in this area.
Staff were lovely. Good was great.
Rooms were it very warm.
Everything was first class in every way. Room, service and facilities
It was all good no need for any improvements I shall stay again.
Good attention from staff and excellent food. Very good value for money.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Very reasonably priced, personally I would prefer to pay a bit more & not have had the issues I have listed.
Shower was poor, with minimum headroom & I am only 5' 8" tall, water temperature proved difficult to adjust. Remote control for the television was very fickle, sometimes working, sometimes not. Up in the attic room we were allocated the advertised free wi-fi was non existent.
For a corporately owned and operated Inn, the establishment does a nice job at seeming quite unique or one of a kind. Food was very good, well prepared and the waitstaff were excellent and very helpful.
Our room had a shortage of headroom in the bathroom and bedroom. I'd ask for a lower level room on my next visit to avois head banging encounters on entries and exits.
The location was ideal for what we needed, the staff could not have been better or could not have made us feel more welcomed . All meals were well cooked and there was a great selection on offer.
You have to be aware that the wi-fi is not available in every room and on a Saturday evening parking can be an issue.
Live music, comfortable bed, nice food for a very good value, peaceful location.
Lovely quaint room, facilities fab! Very friendly staff especially Becky who was very helpful, smiley and efficient. Food was tasty, very reasonable, in fact went back with friends the next night to have dinner again!! Scrummy breakfast menu too!
the hotel was cosy and comfortable a really friendly atmosphere.there was a bus stop outside the woolpack to go into bath town centre which was very convinient.there was a good choice of breakfast
Quaint English inn in the middle of nowhere, small but comfy rooms, good pub food, friendly staff, beautiful village setting.
Couldn't fault anything, maybe the lack of freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast but that's pretty minor and I am very fussy!
Clean room Clean sheets and towels Warm and all things provided Fantastic breakfast
Toilet didn't flush very well
Staff and evening meals v good
Sheet wasn't changed and bathroom not cleaned properly ( needs a deep clean)
The atmosphere was warm and relaxing
Facilities in room and breakfast
Obvious smell of smoking in the room
No shampoo and shower gel provided. The room is not level hence make the bed sliding down to one side. Can't cancel for free or even at a charge. Premier Inn is better in my opinion.
Helpfulness of staff Cosy atmosphere Superb food Good situation for park and ride to Bath or public transport
Beautiful meals, comfortable room. Friendly staff.
Stayed here one night for a visit to nearby Bath Christmas Market. Has plenty of character a warm atmosphere and friendly efficient staff very good breakfast.
Bathroom a bit pokey stayed for an evening meal disappointed.
Comfortable bed and plentiful good breakfast.
Not enough staff at breakfast service and watch out for the roof beams if staying on the top floor!
Very friendly, helpful staff, excellent location. Breakfasts very good.
The bar closes too early!
Excellent breakfast and evening meal.
Bathroom needs an update.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Good value for money
