Staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent for the price. Building was charming, clean and had a lovely character. Comfy beds and the brucie bonus was discovering by accident the free kids main meals in the school holidays! Dodgy radiator in the bathroom which was made it a bit nippy in the middle of the night.

Staff are very friendly and efficient. Bathrooms are a little tired and the rooms could have benefited from having the central heating on. Whilst my stay was the coldest time we have had in March, the bathroom was freezing. The main beroom was ok as you had use of a free standing heater.

Location in countryside near Frome. Staff were excellent and room was very good and bathroom excellent. Initial issue with TV reception was corrected at earliest opportunity. Food is good pub grub. Breakfast offers a wide choice and is excellent. Wardrobe could have had more hangers.

Small and friendly. Staff friendly and helpful. Heating was faulty as two radiators were not working. The manageress, however provided a portable heater which helped warm the room a little.

Very good service in the resaurant, excellent value for money and helpful friendly staff. Not their fault but no mobile phone signal (Orange / T-Mobile E-E). Can be a blessing for some!

Stayed with my mother as overnight stop between National Trust garden trip. Beautiful inn, lovely staff, great food & prices. Small room (6) but comfortable and with adjustable heating. Would thoroughly recommend. Stayed in room 6, twin room but could separate or move beds together which was fine. The reading lamp above the bed closest to the door was unfortunately in the centre and with a long base that came down over the headboard it was potentially hazardous for sitting up and causing a head injury. Even moving the bed as far over as possible, it was still dangerous.
