The staff were invariably polite and helpful and the location was ideal for The Three choirs Festival. Guests were able to relax in the lounge, read the papers and enjoy reasonably priced drinks and snacks. Our room at the back of the hotel would have been ideal except for the seagulls and the mess they created. The hotel has potential but the management need to pay more attention to detail and ensure that all the facilities are working. The swimming pool was out of order for the majority of our stay. The meal at the restaurant was not one that I would associate with a 4 star hotel and marmalade was not available for several days at breakfast. One lift was broken throughout our stay and the other was out of order for one day. Climbing 3 flights of stairs was good exercise for us but we felt sorry for the cleaning staff and the more disabled.

The Breakfast and free Car Park The room had no Air conditioning and we were not able to open a window.I Thought health and safety wise a window should be able to be used as an escape. I was told by some person who was on reception that it was not a health and safety issue. Try telling that to the local fire officer!

The most posative element was the staff who were friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our short stay. The interior of the hotel was well maintained but the outside could do with a refreshing. The plague of seagulls at the rear is a problem,it was very noisy through the night and my car was covered inthe droppings in the morning.

Its a good-value hotel, nice to have a swimming pool, etc.....Room very comfortable, no view out of the window, but onl.y staying one night so not important. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent. All in all, I would recommend it, and would stay again if visiting Worcester. We parked our car easily on the road just down from the Hotel, with no problems - not even from sea-gulls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcoming to the hotel when entered through the main door I did not even get to the reception desk before the receptionist shouted that check in was not till 2 and I would have to come back then. I only wanted to leave my case. The seagulls kept me awake all night a big problem with the hotel as these birds did not even go to roost..... Worse than being at the seaside.

We booked a double room and was given a bedroom with a 4 poster bed for the same price which we booked for a second night. The staff at breakfast were friendly and very attentive. Could not have asked for more of them. The room needed tlc with damp in the corner and peeling wallpaper. On check out the reception charged us £10 extra for the 4 poster on the second night and we had to remind them that they had offered us the room for the basic bedroom charge. In fairness the bill was quickly rectified. However, my lasting memory will be that I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable whilst waiting for my partner to collect the token to leave the car park when a member of staff asked what I was doing sitting in the lounge and if I wanted a drink. My partner also heard the same member of staff discussing with the receptionist what we were doing there. I am used to hotels where you are able to sit in the lounge quietly reading without being questioned. We had checked out at 12.00 and had asked the receptionist if we could leave the car for a little while before collection whilst we walked around town. I was in the lounge for a very brief time.I Felt that as our bill had been paid we were no longer welcome there. I would still recommend this hotel however because our actual stay was a pleasant one.

The best thing about this hotel was the friendliness of the staff. From the minute we walked through the door till we left. The taste of the coffee.

Great location in the middle of the city. Well eqipped gym and nice swimming pool. We stayed in a room with a window overlooking the atrium. The window was sealed and the air conditioning did not work well. The room was very warm at night.

As always the staff were helpful and friendly. We stay at this hotel once or twice a year and will continue to do so. Breakfast was excellent as was the service. On the Sunday morning we had the pool pretty much to ourselves, which was great. I have mentioned in the past that the ladies changing rooms could do with a little maintenance. The only vacant locker with a working lock had a broken wrist strap so I had to give the key to hubby to lock in his locker next door.

The staff were very good espacially the chambermaid who made sure we had everything we needed when we told her not to make up the room as we were getting ready for a wedding. We were concerned about the possibility of Seagull noise but this turned out to be not a problem. The location is excellent and we would stay again. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday finishes at 10:00 - I think this is a bit early. The selection for Monday breakfast was very limited.

Clean, comfortable, location, food, staff, convenient parking, value for money, spa facilities, decor, in fact everything about the hotel is excellent, as a 'friends' group we had no complaints at all - it is a brilliant hotel whether mobile or disabled. Hotel services second to none.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, friendly staff with nothing too much trouble. Enjoyed dip in pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again if visiting Worcester. Excellent value for money too. Only downside (not hotels fault) was noisy seagulls in night but earplugs would've been useful - would recommend anyone staying in Worcester to use these.

Location was great or or venue and for shopping The bed was pretty uncomfortable, could feel the springs in the mattress. Sadly seagulls were very noisy most of the night outside and left quite a mess on my car in the hotel car park! Not sure what the hotel could do about this but did make for a disturbed night all in all.

A pleasant city centre hotel which was clean, friendly and well appointed. Car parking was easy and secure. Not at all noisy despite its location. A good sized room with one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in! Nothing - perhaps a (tourist) map of city centre would have been good and useful.
