Set in a 16th-century inn, the 4-star Wynnstay Arms is in central Ruthin, in scenic Clwyd. There is free private parking, free Wi-Fi and an award-winning restaurant.

The individual rooms at Wynnstay are full of traditional charm and original features. All rooms have a private bathroom, TV and tea/coffee facilities. Rooms also have a hairdryer and alarm clock.

The 2 AA-Rosette Fusions Brasserie serves a varied menu and traditional Welsh cuisine, and boasts a variety of awards. The bar has a range of real Welsh ales, and the Cafe Bar offers more casual dining.

Located in historic Ruthin, The Wynnstay Arms is centrally located for exploring North Wales. Lively Chester and the beautiful Snowdonia National park are a 30-minute drive away, and the coast at Colwyn is a 40-minute drive.

This is a small 7-bedroom restaurant with rooms, recently awarded 4 stars for its accommodations and 2 Rosettes for its brasserie, Fusions. The restaurant also offers a more casual dining option in the cafe bar, serving bistro-style food.

Food & beverage

Continental breakfast is included from Monday to Friday. Full English breakfast is included on Saturday and Sunday.

Food served on Sundays 12pm-6pm.

If you book dinner, bed and breakfast on a Monday night, dinner will be in Bar W as Fusions Brasserie is closed on Mondays.

The hotel is 22 miles from the city of Chester, ideally located for touring Snowdonia, Caernarfon and Conwy castles.

Anonymous Family with young children United Kingdom May 17, 2011	As we checked in to our room the carpet had not been hoovered,the toilet pan had skid marks on it and one of the bed sheets had stains on it, not to mention the poor equipment and dusty lampshades ect.we complained and still couldn't Hoover on 2nd attempt, we were kept awake till 2 am as it was a sat night and the local piss heads were shouting in the street , no double glazing ,bad nite all in all, not worth £85, Not for a quiet weekend!!!! The rooms were spacious. there was no problem organising the twin bed room after the initial booking mix-up. The location and the Town are in a wonderful situation for exploring North Wales and it was easy to find.
