the breakfast was ok
This is not a hotel its a bed and breakfast its location is no where near the station. Beds were small the room very dated no side lamps could hear every body walking up the stairs the wifi did not work properly. I paid £87 for one night and for sure booking.com mislead on the advert this is a 40 quid a night bandb no more, located outside of town on not a very nice road for budget travellers its great .but for people on business needing wifi and facilities and a good nights sleep its not the room was freezing. I would not even think this hotel had 2 stars booking.com are misleading by saying 4 rosettes which is not stars I will be charging my card back as the advert is clearly misleading.
3 flights of stairs No parking one coffee sachet , 1 tea bag no milk no clean towels daily
The couple who own the hotel
the decorations are old and need updating kettle didn't work it looks like an old tired establishment, and for the price they charge, its not a 4 star facility
Very homely, although very busy when we arrived we were made very welcome. The landlady had a great sense of humour. Bed very comfy slept like a log.
No car park
Outdated (not near the **** they claim)
Location was perfect , staff and hotel very nice .
All good no complaints
Extremely welcoming owners. Fantastic french restaurant for dinner. Well stocked bar. Nice lounge area with large flat screen TV. Cosy Rooms. Excellent full English breakfast.
The owners of this hotel were very welcoming there was nothing to dislike about the hotel The breakfast was excellent. Would certainly stay there again
4 star who are you kidding. No parking No evening restaurant
Warm, friendly welcome. Comfortable enough en suite room. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.
Facing onto the main road through town made it a bit noisy as a Saturday night can often be with police cars rushing about! Soon settled down though, so not really a problem.
The location was good for my needs ie within close walking distance of the station and the football ground.
The room was adequate but the breakfast was not of a very high quality. I think £55 for a one night stay is way too expensive.
The lady owner was very friendly and helped us find the location of where we needed to go and even called a taxi to take us to our destination.
No hand soap.
The staff was very well and friendly. The room was very clean. You can get evening meal there too. Breakfast full English. I think money well spend I would go there again.
