The Hotel was very comfortable and clean. The rooms were small but had everything in them what was needed. The hotel was ideally situated for the Hospital that we had to visit.

Good location as it was close to Queens square Hospital with surrounding restaurants and shops. Very practical for the reason I was in London and the discount price was appealing . Very chilly and noisy at night. £10 per person for breakfast was too expensive - we ate elsewhere which was inconvenient as we couldn't justify the price for what was on offer.

Good Shower Facility. Comfortable Beds. Central Location and Attentive Staff. This hotel was way over-priced for the quality of the accommodation - for the price charged for our stay - the rooms were exceptionally basic. The area in which the hotel is located is dominated by other hotel chains that offer similar rooms and provide breakfast for an all- inclusive price (which the Bloomsbury Park Hotel charges for an additional fee). Our entire stay including breakfast and accommodation would have amounted to precisely half the cost if we had chosen any of the other hotel chains in the Russel Square area. For what was offered and presented to us as affordable was in fact completely inflated by the title "a Thistle Associate". Staff were very accommodating and did attempt to remedy our disappointment; however, when offered alterantive rooms, we discovered that the other vacant rooms in the hotel were of a similar standard. We will not be returning to this hotel, based on our experience, for any future trips to London.

The location is excellent for going everywhere because of the connection with Picadilly Service Line and the short walking distances to British Museum and to Thames bank The rooms weren't very spacious

Staff very friendly. Excellent location for British Museum - 5 mins. away. Good value for Central London (mind the bar prices though - there is a nice little pub just down the side of the hotel) £21.00 for 2 large gin and tonics!

Handy for British Museum and walking to Covent Garden. Small room, impersonal, characterless.

Having stayed at Thistle hotels in the past we chose this one hoping it would match up. However:- 1.. Good location for visiting London sites . 1. Reception staff could have been friendlier 2. Breakfast staff quite disorganised 3. Drinks in bar very expensive 4. Items missing from laundry in room.

Hotel was very comfortable and handy to Brit Museum, Covent Garden. Also a short walk to Russel Park tube station The receptionist offered me a room at the back to be away from the noisy main street. However my room at the back overlooked a busy laneway and bars, and was very noisy, especially on Saturday night

Great location -- close to the British Museum and British Library. Also very close to the tube. Very good and reasonable restaurants within several blocks of the hotel as well as several convenience stores for "extras".

The hotel is in an excellent location.Size of bathroom. No air conditioning which made the rooms very hot. I thought the breakfast was over priced. Very little tea/coffee in the room. Did not like having to ask for a bathmat at reception. (The mat was definitely needed as the shower curtain fell outside of the shower!)

leaving....... The doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs to go through, staff told me 'they do not cater for disabled people there' but accepted my booking which stated I was disabled, rooms are extremely small, bathrooms tiny, outlook onto a filthy disused church wall,12 feets away, dismal. This hotel is very close to Great Ormond Street hospital and The National neuro hospital (where I was visiting the nxt day)

rooms were clean and tidy, fresh towels, friendly staff Noisy street noise and although room was ok and clean, the corridors and lift area were very shabby. Didn't eat or drink there, wasn't a very good atmosphere, kinda empty. also booking.com gave a price in euros of €443 and the hotel cost €469, not happy about that.

Really good location, easily staggerable to Covent Garden / Soho / Oxford St etc. Great local restaurants within yards (Il Fornello was fine... cheap (in the nicest way) decent grub and friendly). Plenty of pub crawl opportunities (start at Cosmo Place next door, head to The Lamb, then Princess Louise-wards and go from there....). Handy for tubes (Russell Sq / Holborn). Nice friendly hotel, good rooms, really clean etc.... Will be the first place we'll try for future London knees-ups.... Park at The Imperial (200 yards away) if you come in the car. It's reasonable (15 quid a day I think) but seems well safe (underground car park). Have fun All good for us, no problems at all :)
