We went for my partner's 60th birthday and they very kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. It was a lovely room and extremely comfortable. Everyone came down to breakfast at more or less the same time so the staff seemed a little stressed and perhaps not quite as attentive as they would have normally been on one of the mornings. |

Hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and free and the hotel was close enough for a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The restaurant menu at the Dunstane Hotel wasn't particularly vegetarian friendly ( I don't think I saw a veggie main course on there!) so we didn't eat there. |

Location which allowed us to travel around in a 50 mile radius; visit sites; shop in Edenburgh; near buses and had a car park (essential!); good breakfast; comfy bed; high quality and well trained staff; good wine list and scotch selection. |

The staff were helpful, a clean room and plenty of choice at Breakfast. The room was below ground level, therefore dark and because it was underneath the dining area/bar, footfall could be heard until 12am and recommenced at 6.30am. |

The staff in the hotel was really nice, kind and friendly. Good and tasty food for breakfast. Room was clean. Good location...15 minutes walk to the center. No noise from the street, good beds. Noise because of a door lock system (next rooms). Bad wall isolation. |

The comfort of the rooms and the well cooked breakfast was a good start to our day in edinburgh At evening when we came back there was a lack or no staff available you would have to go to thier sister hotel to get them. |

The room was comfortable and well appointed. Staff were always very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good. The room always looked good after the staff had been in in the morning. Brilliant bus service stopping right outside the door and a choice of several buses in both directions.. |
