Superb location on a quiet street just off Union St right in the centre. Nice big room too. Would definitely stay here again. Please could you get some real ale for the bar - bottled would be fine. Something like Orkney Dark Island.

Friendly courteous staff. Great view of Union Terraace and city skyline. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Would have been nice to have bottled water as well as hot drink sachets. Problem finding towels - on the bed not in the wardrobe would have been easier to find ! Water seemed cold in morning. But these are minor niggles and didn't detract from a lovely stay at the Caley.

To be honest the musty bedding, ruined my stay. The bedding had a horrible musty smell, this made me feel sick, I had very little sleep during my stay.

The light in the suit could not be dulled down, it was all or nothing no mood lighing! The toilet roll was the same cheap stuff as I use offshore, I.E. as cheap as possible. If I am paying £320 for two nights I should be entitlied to some quality wipers

Great staff, location, breakfast. Lux rooms are v good. thanks Moufid The single rooms are poor for the price, the beds are very uncomfortable and are the pillows for a hotel of this credibility I expected much better.

One night stay does not give me the right to comment but the room was basic/comfortable and clean just as you would expect with the standard room choice but must say the breakfast could be a little bit better going on other overnight stays at other hotels in the last few years but overall happy!. Breakfast choice I can say was not good! Cooked breakfast is an extra! But if I was a rabbit it would have been fine!! Had enough to nibble on on the day tho!!

A great location - just off Union - so within a minute or so of shops, restaurants, transport etc. Food was OK, but a bit expensive. The room I had on 3rd floor faced a street behind the hotel with a pub just down the road. Incredibly noisy till 2.30 in the morning one morning, also hotel putting its garbage bins out (I think) at 4 in the morning and people stopping for a chat in the middle of the night (there´s no such thing as a soft Scots voice!). All these innocent sounds reverberated up the granite walls and right into my room. Even with the windows closed it was still impossible to sleep.

Your car park facilities and information that your staff had regarding it, were so poor and totally inadequate. We spent nearly 1hour driving round Aberdeen in the dark and pouring rain trying to find somewhere to park. We eventually gave up, were dropped off, and our daughter took our car to her flat. We therefore would not return to your hotel.

Comfortable, relaxing rooms, good service and excellent staff I was it would be possible for a late checkout on arrival but this was unfortunately not the case because the hotel was fully booked the next night (shows how popular the place is) Book early to avoid dissapointment.

Chose Caledonian as good value last minute deal for city centre weekend break. Only £5 more than travelodge! Room was superb, would like to stay longer next time and make use of facilities. Live in aberdeenshire but this was cheaper option than taxi home. Limited hotel parking
