The central location was it's best feature,so handy for the shops, so proved to be a great choice for a girls' shopping weekend! The rooms were also clean, comfortable, and warm (weather was very cold during our stay). I didn't like having to pay upfront for my room- would have prefered to do so when I was checking out. Not somthing I've experienced in any other hotel I don't think.Puts your back up a little! |

Foyer reception very modern and nice. Staff friendly. Room on top floor very small, needs updating ,very noisey, Could hear the person next door and street noise. Room was very clean although hallway leading to room and lift looked as though it had not been cleaned for a very long time. |

Close to shopping centre, theatre and restaurants There was no residents lounge. The seating in the bar area really needed to be more comfortable. |

location is good for Aberdeen city. Can be noisy in the back rooms Not getting one of the upgraded rooms as used in all of the photos online. Rather dissapointed with the room given that I booked two months in advance. The first thing the receptionist said was that they were sorry but the new rooms were all taken. Having stayed there several times before didn't help my case. Can be noisy in the back rooms |

Proximity to the city centre. The bathroom, though clean, was in need of some refurbishment. |

We often stay at this hotel as being in the centre makes it convenient for onward travel, shopping, theatre. Find it a bit pricey for standard room, very basic facilities however we have no complaint and will be back again. |

Leaving The dreary room had a "view" of an interior shaft covered with pieces of shingles and other debris resembling South Bronx tenements. The person at the front desk had never read the hotel booklet on wireless hookups--selling us a useless card that took an hour and a half and three calls to tech support to fix. Even then the connection (with a reputable broadband provider) was erratic at best. Furthermore no other place we stayed in Scotland did we have to pay for internet (including both hotels and Bed and Breakfast places). The persons at the front desk during the hours we were there could not competently respond to modest requests for information about the hotel and city. |

The friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. The quality and value of the breakfast menu was superb. We stayed in a smoking room which had not yet been re-furbished (hence the reason we were allowed to smoke) but the rest of our party were in non-smoking rooms which had been done and these were beautiful. Although our room was somewhat shabby in appearence, the bed was still very comfortable and clean. Our problem though and not the hotels (time to stop smoking I think). |

The service was appalling. I was not given the room I booked. Three times I asked to see the general manager - she refused to see me. The food was bought in and not cooked on the premises. A very bad experience |

Upgraded to a suite, newly refurbished - good value for money. Catalogue of tiny snags in the newly refurbished room, none of which affected my enjoyment - when one shower is too hot, just use the other one! |

The hotel had been nicely refurbished, although the bedroom could have been a bit brighter. see before. Also, no water Friday morning in the hotel for baths and showers. Not staff faulty, but could have been a bit more proactive. |
