Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels
Room was too warm
Clean, comfortable room.
No hot water available in morning.
Hotel was cosy, nice breakfast, friendly staff, 8 minute walk to all the good shops.
Hotel bit hard to find...
Fairly cheap, comfortable bed, midday checkout, breakfast included.
Tv didn't work, towels were smelly (from cleaning products?), given contradictory information (told room was paid for at check-in, then told 2nd night was due at check out). Room was noisy due to plumbing and being behind elevator.
Hotel reception staff exceptional - helpfull, friendly
Booking.com forgot to book our reservation with the hotel so we turned up with a confirmed booking print off but no reservation- luckily the reception staff were amazing and managed to give us a room despite the fact they were fully booked. The experience has made me cautious about using Booking. Com in the future.
good size room
curtains hanging off noisy
Very nice staff.
Although advertised as 0.8 miles from the NIA, we still could not walk there, as it was a complicated route.
Free Wifi Really comfy beds Helpful staff
Found it slightly petty that they carved extra for things like green tea
There was a party in the hotel and kept going till late. Was very loud.
Clean comfortable and well prepared room. Good value for money.
I do a lot of international travel and stay in a variety of hotels and this was a very well presented room, all clean and modern, very comforting after a long day in the NEC. Couldn't really ask for more given how cheap it was and also the location was perfect for a trip into town to visit the Christmas markets.
- Parking in the NCP next door is very pricey, be sure to get your parking ticket stamped by reception to get 50% off the parking fee. - The TV in the room was dated (but instructions on use were very clear). - An excessively strong smell of perfume in the lobby. - The complimentary tea was Twinings, not our preferred Yorkshire...
Restaurant offered a good choice of food
Gym is well, a room with a couple of old machines.
The bed was very comfortable and fairly nice breakfast..good variety.
Some staff were not pleasent or helpful, evening meal in the hotel bar was horrible really bland, paid with cash on departure but there was a hold for the amount on my debit card for a week later which was very frustrating and despite ringing the hotel to rectify this they were very unhelpful so beware!!
- Had a kettle and safe. - Honestly, not much.
- Room was cold initially, air con took minutes to get going, I thought it was broken to begin with. - Phone to reception didn't work, had to constantly jiggle cable. - Noisy, despite the window being closed it sounded like it was open. No double glazing? - Small. For #75, the room was much smaller than the advert made it seem. - Within minutes I regretted not booking another hotel.
Clean hotel, friendly staff,
Noisy if your room overlooks the ring road
Comfortable hotel with attentive and courteous staff in central location. Easy, though expensive parking.
Christmas music in the lounge bar on the 15th of November! Do you know it's Christmas? Really?
Parking next door
Parking ticket validated by the hotel but it didn't work and I had to pay at the NCP machine to get out. Hotel said they couldn't help and I had to take it up with the NCP. Not very good.
Excellent free Wi fi. Good position for town, Uni, train etc. Clean. Comfortable.
Breakfast expensive £15. Wetherspoon nearby for £4!
quiet. Good facilities. Help from reception staff in finding the venue I needed.
stray hairs in the bathroom on arrival.
Lovely helpful reception staff did everything that they could to help. Quiet room just like I asked for
10mins walk from New Street and in a quiet location
The hotel advertises quite loudly that it has excellent WiFi which is actually patchy, slow (6th floor) and requires repeated sign in to use.
Hotel was close to centre and the night staff went beyond the call of duty.
Booking.com messed our reservations up so only reserved one room. Although the Staff rectified this and sorted out another room. Also told we could check in from 2pm however rooms were not ready when we arrived at 8pm.
Reception staff were helpful. The lift worked. I wasn't expecting a queen sized bed. The tv was easy to use and the instructions were good.
The shower was rubbish The location was not great for walking to the Jewellery Quarter. The smell in reception was overbearing.
Staff Quality of décor Quality of towels
Location: Further away from Broad Street than I would have liked.
Nothing to dislike
