Was slightly disappointed when we first pulled up outside as hotel looks very dated.............but please never judge a book by it's cover as absolutely lovely inside! Greeted by a lovely smiling face and had a lovely restful weekend break here. Staff very good, food lovely, bar very reasonable. The only fault was the hot room! You could ask for a fan and would recommend you do. Looking forward to booking our next city break here, look for the deal with dinner included £109 for weekend break is fantastic value for money ;)

Clean enough. The staff in the bar and breakfast restaurant were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. The hotel was noisy at night (loud extractor fans in neighbouring rooms faulty fire alarm going off at 4am) and I did not get a good nights sleep. Alarm call that I booked was not made. Reception staff were perfunctory and I felt I was interupting them from something.

Good hotel and value for money. Secure Parking, under cover and nice size rooms Reception staff were friendly but staff at Breakfast werent that friendly or helpful

Check in/Check out were efficient. Bed was comfortable. The bar has no premium brands, it is all cheap and nasty chemical stuff, don't drink there if you like spirits.

clean, tidy. Also well served for transport into the city centre with very regular buses passing the hotel. It is on a main road into birmingham but you do not notice that when in the room, I went to watch the football and it was ideal for this kind of short break My single room was quite small. I only stayed for one night so its not that much of a problem but any longer and it would be an issue

The staff were fantastic! The food was a little limited in choice but was very well cooked, tasty, good portions and very good value for money. Our room was very hot overnight. The second night they did supply a fan. I would find the room very opressive during the summer months

We were unable to shower or bath in our room as the hot water tap was scolding and there was no cold water. When we reported it the receptionist apologised but did not do anything about it subsequently in the evening we ran a bath and used the bathroom bin to decant cold water into it from the sink but we were unable to shower in the morning.

I didn't like very much about the hotel. My television didn't work and I reported it twice, my bed was very uncomfortable. And for the price of £280 for 2 rooms I found this very very unsatisfactory. I travel from the north west regularly and so do alot of my friends and colleagues and will definitely not be recommending your hotel. For an executive room it was sub standard and not value for money which dissapointed me in the current financial climate. At no point was the television situation addressed and as I was in the room alone, I was solitary and bored, I was also unable to leave the room as I had 2 children I was responsible for 2 doors down and had to be available if I was needed! Will not be returning to this particular hotel.

Convenient. Easy access to the centre of Birmingham. Room was adequate through very cramped. Facilities in the bathroom were poor - no decent shelf space. The cupboard to hang clothes was occupied by an ironing board & iron so left little or no room for clothes. I would only recommend the hotel for brief stays and for ease of access to the centre of Birmingham.

Convenient for what we wanted. Unbelievably hot in bedroom and surrounding area - cannot imagine what it would be like in the summer. Room ridiculously small for a double and we were very glad we were only staying one night in such a cramped room. Do not agree with room key only letting you access your own floor - gave us problems with accessing elderly mother on a different floor.

Comfortable bed, great location for eating out, walking distance to Ask, Akbars and a couple of pub chains. Short taxi or bus ride to Birmingham City Centre. Look out for their special offers 2 night break which includes dinner on one night and full English for around £100 for 2.
