No adapter for 230V
free parking and the hotel has been refurbished in the past year or so only in the bedrooms and reception area which is nice
The rooms are small and you can hear everything from your neighbour
nice friendly staff good breakfast reasonably quiet easy parking
bedside cabinet had still wet liquid (possibly coke) on top surface
Hagley Road has many restaurants to choose from so this is an asset
It was the festive season and I was woken up 2 nights running by " drunken women" getting into their rooms
Fantastic room, service from all the staff, location of hotel and free car park. Special thanks to Carole from House Keeping, made the stay that extra bit special with her great customer service.
Nothing to dislike, second year been using this hotel and cannot fault it
Good value for money
Bedding was very cold
We had one of the executive rooms which are roomy and well equipped. Anybody stopping here it is well worth upgrading to the outside rooms which have more space. Our fifth time here and always an excellent stay. Well recommended.
The bed wax very hard and uncomfortable ....bedding very thin didn't sleep very well
the Christmas tree
service below that expected for 4* hotel. First room toilet wouldn't flush. got repair man out rapidly but took nearly an hour to move me
The size and layout of our room was perfect. The beautiful bath in bathroom was a hidden treat. Very comfortable stay with a yummy breakfast to. Free car park was a bonus that goes a long way.
Been before like the location and quiet comfortable stay for us to visit German Christmas Market again.
Toasters at breakfast one did not toast and the other cremated the toast.
Lounge area for meeting up Food Convenience Car parking
Noise in lounge from parties Some noise from people going back to rooms at 1.30 am Tried to charge some of our guests for breakfast which was included....poor systems
The location to the main bars and restaurants on the hagley road and the centre of birmingham
It has a very down-market feel to the place. The staff, whilst not rude, are not very polished and appear not to be terribly well motivated. The decor and look of the building leave a lot to be desired
Breakfast good, check in efficient.Room very clean.
Room very small, mattress very hard, but I like a soft mattress.
It was close to the city so we were able to leave the car and get a taxi in.
The breakfast was a bit sparse at 10am
Seemed relaxed and informal, but efficient. Staff polite and cooperative.
Noise from functions but probably unavoidable as they were Staff Christmas parties!
Location ,space in room
We could see people hurrying downstairs for breakfast buffet which terminates at 9.30 am, beds very uncomfortable ,hot water from shower available in single droplets only
convenient for Birmingham centre
Only one person on reception Lack of service throughout hotel Bedroom single size with a double bed, positioned diagonal to get it in the room. Breakfast dried up and tasteless
Good location, staff and facilities very good. Not overpriced like many other city hotels. Free parking alo a bonus.
Double booked me & sent me to an alternative hotel for 1 night which was very poor, was not happy!
Staff great, especially the older guy doing the seating at breakfast - a very good all rounder. Room was comfortable.
We stayed at hotel for three nights, the tea and coffee facilities in the room needed more coffee and milk as there was only 4 put in the room a day (two people in a room) We had to ask each day for more, it did make me feel a little awkward even thought the staff were really nice.
Friendly staff , safe parking , evening meal was very good quality, breakfast plentiful and ample choice , air con , spotlessly clean , very nice stay . If it's good enough for Keith Duffy it must be ok , spotted him whilst checking out.
Rooms are small as mentioned in other posts but not a problem for us.
They are not clear with the time for breakfast and there was a rude redhead man in the recepción that didn't help at all.
liked the parking facility, and the Service Bus so close byi into the city tliked the excellent breakfast and the adequate nicely cooked main menu Will be back,
Friendlieness of Staff, clean & tidy rooms
