Location is great, rooms are fair sized, staff very helpful. They use bt Open for internet access and their pricing plans are not geared to short incremental usage - would like to see alternate purchase options. |

came to have a rest only to find they were drilling in the car park downstairs and you it was unbearable I came for a rest as this hotel has nice lounge which could not be used because of noise. The rooms were too hot and they had to provide portable air con unit as air con was inadequate |

The selection and choice at breakfast time. But some of the staff need too crack a smile to make you feel welcome. My room faced the foyet which made it dark and depressing, air conditioning was absolutely ineffective and many times I woke with a headache. |

Location of the hotel is great right on the sea front and near all the bars and pubs, restaurants and shops. We were really impressed with our room, very clean and modern. Staff were friendly and the security staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. To park your car under the hotel was £20 a night, you should get a good discount for using the car park and staying over night or parking should be free of charge. The gym was a little bit small. |

The hotel is in an ideal position within walking distance of pier, pavilion, parade and the shops. Very good breakfast. We chose it exclusively for the advertised car park only to find that it was a shared public one that we had to queue for 45 minutes to get in. In our room the bathroom fittings were getting shabby. |

The staff are friendly plus the location is excellent. Car parking is expensive and because the hotel entrance was closed we had to queue. |

Ken greeted the kids, gave them hotel gifts, remembered their names, gave them free run of the place. Staff very helpful at breakfast, carrying my food, rinsing sippy cups, etc whilst I was carrying the baby. policy of 1 parent per child in the pool, regardless of their swimming ability, meant that we all had to use the pool at the same time which was a bit inconvenient |

The hotel is centrally located in Brighton and ideal for shopping and local amenities. The staff were courteous and the room was clean. Some of the room decor was a little tired and in need of replacement e.g. chipped door frames and slightly marked wallpaper. The towels were thin and old and the room smelt of smoke but I can't say why as I know it was a non smoking room with a smoke detector fitted ? |

ease of booking in staff friendly and helpful. breakfast very good cocktail bar good comfortable and nice decor in hotel Would have preferred a double bed instead of twin. Also when we arrived the tv welcomed someone else to the room. Finding the car park was difficult on a busy saturday afternoon, we rang after passing hotel and were directed by phone to entrance at the front, but there was a sign saying you couldnt enter that way and we gave up and went in the Lanes car park which was a little dearer, but ok. None of these points reduced how much we enjoyed our stay. |

We came for a concert at Brighton Pavillion and the location was excellent Have to be critical of car parking and charges - considering the hotel status, the cost of £20 per day (includes 10% discount) is far too much - where parking is available this should be free to guests |

great location in the heart of Brighton overlooking the sea and pier A bit pricey for the level of accomodation, but consistent with European rates. |

The staff recognised when they had not acted appropriately and offered us a bottle of wine as an apology. The location is fantastic. The first rooms we were offered smelt strongly of smoke. We were not moved quickly enough, our opinion was not believed at first or taken seriously. Two twin rooms were booked via your site, on arrival the second room had not been reserved. I paid for both rooms instantly on your site before arrival, the hotel did not have a record of this and requested payment on check out. On your website it states the car park is £15 per day, it is £20 as we were informed on arrival, this needs updating as Brighton is quite a pricey place to plan a visit to. |

It is located close to Madeira Drive which is where I was spending Sunday. Air conditioning didn't work. Telephone was not connected to the wall socket. Bath was clean but showing signs of ageing. Room 461 was very noisy |

Ideally situated for beach and for bars, restaurants, shopping etc. Many interesting places to visit within walking distance - Royal Pavillion, museum, art gallery, marina, to name a few. Enjoyed the gym/swimming pool. Friendly, helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere. |
