Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, super location for beach and shopping. Pleasant, modern appearance to foyer/reception area. No noise (at least when James Bond themed evening had settled down). Cost of parking in car park next to hotel (not sure if hotel is responsible for this). |

Everything. My husband and I have travelled around the world. We thought our hotel overlooking Niagara Falls, in Canada, could never be beaten, but I must say, the Thisle Hotel in Brighton was very close to it. You did us proud. No. |

The pool area is nice although quite small. I was disappointed with the hotel overall and I wouldn't class it as a 4*. When we arrived at our room the heating wasn't working, so we waited for 30 minutes for someone to come. When they didn't we had to leave for our dinner reservation. When we returned we had been 'up graded' to a sea view room but they hadn't moved our bags, which we had to do. Also, the main lobby was modern and clean but other area I was a bit disappointed with, for example there was an empty can of special brew in the lift!!! The parking here is a nightmare, we had to pay £40 for two days parking which is more than most airports!!! Overall I think we paid too much for what we got. |

Good location. But that's it. . Having no Wifi in the rooms is totally unacceptable. Over this issue, a staff member was rude. The web is loaded with unhappy customers, now I'm one as well. This is a charmless establishment. |

Extremely comfy beds, lovely bar area and entrance. Courteous staff. Rooms too warm with no air flow even when heating turned off. Bathrooms a little bit dated. |

Perfect location on the edge of the Laines and next to the beach. Well appointed and comfortable rooms, which were quiet and the aircon worked. Good gym facilities. |

The location is perfect and the lay out of the building is pleasing The heating did not work in our room and the main entrance was not in use, given that the weather was so cold this was not acceptable |

The hotel was in a great location, the lobby was very grand and the service was good. Only problem was the internal room that meant it was very hot at night even when freezing cold outside and the parking was hard work as it's a public car park next to the hotel. |

The gym was good, rooms were a nice size, great location and overall was good value for money The staff were unhelpful - When we arrived we asked where reception was, the person did not know, it was his 'first night there' and when we tried to get in after 11pm we struggled to access the hotel |

Nice atmosphere and very pleasant staff - Ken, concierge, was particularly helpful. Pool and gym were good. It was not made clear that parking was in a public car park - we queued for just under an hour to get in to it and had to pay £20 for the privilege. |

The staff were very welcoming and the reception area/longe bar is got a really good atmosphere. The rooms we had were very old and tired which made them feel dirty - not reflecting the lovely room photos on the web site so was very dissappointed with that. Would only recommend this hotel again if you could be guaranted a refurbished room. |

The service was great with all the staff being very helpful. There is a lovely seating area in the centre of the hotel by the bar which feels extremely spacious and is very comfortable. The view from the dining room is a must come rain or shine. |

excellent parking facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Superb location. I think if anything the spa facilities could be improved. for the amount of guests the pool could be slightly bigger as it got full very quickly, as did the sauna and steam room. |
