The service has been kind and responsive. Somewhat bureaucratic for getting drinks and food in the evening. |

Very little. The food was ok, but overpriced. Overall, I thought the hotel was poor value for money compared with the many other hotels I stay at. |

Upgraded to one level higher without asking - has now happened on two successive occasions. No soap in the bathroom!!! Surely this is unacceptable and the hotel management would probably be shocked as well. Luckily, had my own and carried on, but still... |

Being able to use the hotel's facilities (swimming pool, spa and sauna). I thought it was extremely hot in the hotel which caused some discomfort. On top of that the controlling of the water for the shower was non existent. There was no cold water at all which meant that you would scourge yourself. No way to have a bath. Drinks from the bar were extremely expensive. |

First room (single) was awful. Really small, smelly and no air conditioning. Had to upgrade to a suite (not as good as it sounds!) Even in the suite there was no shower gel/conditioner/body lotion/biscuits) |

The hotel was in a quiet location. The room service menu had a good selection of meals and the delivery to the room was quick. The staff were nice and helpful. The food was very expensive; the main restaurant was too cold so our food got cold quickly. The room we had was shabby; the wallpaper was yellowing and lifting off, the net curtains were grey and the towels were very worn. The bed was too small for a double and too hard. The hot tap in the sink was loose and there was rust around the bath handles. Not what we expected from a four star hotel. |

The location was very convenient for me, in relation to the sites of my visits. The room felt more like a 2nd rate hotel in a back street of Croydon rather than a Thistle hotel in the city. The furniture is cheap and damaged, the paintwork is cracked and peeling and the decor is tired. It was very dissapointing. |

Free taxi service to tube satation the other tower (?north) where I was accommodated is a shoddy 1-2 star set of bedrooms and nothing like what was advertised. I presume the real hotel is the tower above reception. It was a great dissappointment. |

Although room was comfortable and well decorated, both the basin and the toilet were cracked and stained as a result. |

there was not enough front office staff when we checked in - also there was only one bath towel and one hand towel despite the room being booked as a twin |

I got to the hotel only to find it was overbooked, I think they had obviously been able to sell the room at full price rather than the discounted price, whilst they did transfer me to another hotel 25 minutes away, upgrade me to a double room and give me a free bottle of wine after much haggling, I was most annoyed as I had picked the location of the hotel as it was right next to where my friend... |
