Close to airport, although aircraft noise could not be heard in room. Transfer to and from airport was perfectThe reason for the hotel booking was because we had a early morning flight and we would definetly use the hotel again as we have previously done. We would also recomend family and friends to do the same! Close proximity to airport.

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The location is ideal for the airport (walking distance). I felt the room looked rather "weary" and could do with sprucing up. The linen also need replacing - threadbare towels and a hole in my duvet cover. I thought the cleanliness could be improved.... the hand towel had black (mascara) marks on it still and there was quite a lot of dust in areas.

Hotel had a perfect location for the Airport, only issue is paying for the Car Park for the nights stay we had dont beleive that you should have to pay for a Hotel Car Park if you are staying there.

My choice for this hotel was for it's very close location to the East Midlands Airport departure terminal. Less than 5 minutes walk. Super ! I had dinner in the bar, and liked the choice that was offered. Tasted great. Room was good, staff was friendly and efficient. Being able to have a good breakfast at 4:30 AM was also very nice, especially when your flight leaves very early.

The hotel is a good quality hotel for a reasonable price. Ideal location for Donington Park race circuit. The food was cold, overpriced and did not come as stated on the menu. I wouldnt mind but there were no other restaurants for miles. I did complain and received a free beer. Better than nothing I suppose.

Easy access to East Midlands Airport prior to departure on holiday. On arrival I found that my reservation had been cancelled by booking .com but fortunately I had the paper work to prove I had a confirmed reservation. I think the reason for this was that I had cancelled a previous booking just after making another one - the reason being that the price had been reduced by 11 pounds for the same deal.

.See complaints - Thank god for good staff! Thank God they have good staff because the hotel is a disappointment. I ordered a deluxe room- a small double bed with a bath stained by worn out enamel was not what I was expecting - the staff changed the room and the replacement was much better (very hard mattress though!) The car parking only gives 15 minutes free- not enough to drop off luggage- the staff validated the token so no charge.The first course at the restaurant was poor - changed without complaint. A beautiful coffee machine - but no decaff coffee for a late night drink- the staff found some instant and didn't charge. Aircraft noise is audible and surprisingly there were aircraft at 3a.M. Thank God for the staff!!! Breakfast very expensive

I think that for the money charged, that they could include breakfast which in reality doesnt cost that much to provide or provide a reduced breakfast I.E. cereal or toast etc.

Location next to airport terminal is very useful. However, when leaving a rented car at the airport, it takes some effort to find the footpaths and as a result i had a muddy walk through the roadsides. The room was spacious, but clearly used by a heavy smoker before. The food in the restaurant was awful. Very poor cooking and lacking refinement.

I liked the location to the airport, it was so easy to leave the car in your car park and walk to the airport and the same coming back. It took some stress of the holiday. We had a meal on the evening and the hole experience was including food was nice and relaxed. Will definitely do the same next time we go abroad.
