The staff was great! The pub, Boston Bean - the food was not very good and the staff in this part of the hotel was quite opposite of the hotel staff itself |

Good central location very close to Waverley station and Omni Centre. Old style hotel but clean and comfortable. I booked a double room online but got a very small single for 3 nights with no reduction in price. |

The staff were very friendly and the rooms comfortable. Breakfast was super. The shower in our first room was not working but after alerting the desk staff we were relocated to another room. |

Great location, especially for travellers arriving by train. Catch the service bus outside to visit Royal Yacht. Helpful local attraction guides and maps at hotel. Don't be put off by adjoining shopping centre as this is not intrusive. The restaurant serves good food but is a little bleak and featureless. Some might find the large building site opposite doesn't add to the atmosphere. |

In the city center, so close to the clubs pubs and nightlife. Because of where it was situated there was a constants noise on the street. Not really a major problem, but not a hotel for relaxing, |

We were welcomed by staff, excellent food in the bar resturant was excellent and waitress very pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast could be improved. The most important thing for us is coffee/tea in the morning. We waited 15 minutes before we got coffee after we were seated. I would suggest coffee or tea pots on the table when guests arrive for breakfast. Other than that it was all we could have asked for. |

The noise in the rooms on the town side needs to be sorted, double glazing helps, the pillows in my room were absolutely terrible,4 of the same ones, with no choice. |

This hotel is placed in the centre of the city, which means you can access the major tourist spots and public transportations such as Waverley railway station, St Andrew Square bus station easily by foot. I think the facilities of the hotel are outdated and some even does not work properly, for instance the dryer in our room did not work and the flush of the bathroom was quite weak. |

excellent reception staff,very helpful.car parking ok [as long as u can fit in space and dont move during stay]quality of cooked food very good, dinner sunday night,service very slow,over 2 hrs.breakfast monday again having to wait a long time for food to be replenished.1 room had no hot drinks provided.the other room hot drinks,items missing. |
