The noise in the rooms on the town side needs to be sorted, double glazing helps, the pillows in my room were absolutely terrible,4 of the same ones, with no choice. |

This hotel is placed in the centre of the city, which means you can access the major tourist spots and public transportations such as Waverley railway station, St Andrew Square bus station easily by foot. I think the facilities of the hotel are outdated and some even does not work properly, for instance the dryer in our room did not work and the flush of the bathroom was quite weak. |

The Location, in the heart of the city. Some rooms overlook the main road and it can get very noisy at night. |

Situation was very good and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. My husband said there was a noise going all night as if there was a pump working it seemed to go off about 7 in morning. We probably would recommend the hotel if it wasn't for the noise going all night |

Central location in the heart of the city, close to shopping and going out areas. Close to central station, tourist information centre. Excellent for weekend go out. on a website special offer was 79 GBP for a double room incl. breakfast +10 GBP if for big english breakfast. Checking out on Sunday morning we've charged for breakfast although did have just a normal continental breakfast and no discussion. |

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, especially Francis who worked on the reception, she was very helpful in telling us good places to go and even asked us the next day how our night was! It was a personal touch you don't expect from large city hotels. |

Conveniently located for shopping, dining and, above all, the marathon which was our main interest this time. Unfortunately, too expensive on account of the marathon. |

location. Very disappointed - £199 for one night, the room was tiny, the decor needed updating, the shower simply did not work... We both had to go out with half washed hair. In the present climate £199 for one night in a hotel - without breakfast would imply a 4 - 5 star service and standard. this was not the case. |
