The hotel has a great central location, about 2 mins walk from Euston train station connecting you to the rest of the city with its underground and overground links. The hotel is tucked away behind the station overlooking a park so is nice and quiet, there was no noise interference from the trains or road. The reception staff are polite and helpful, and although it says you can book in from 2pm onwards our room was available when we arrived at approx 12.30pm. There is a consierge service to leave your bags on the final day so you can go and explore the city one final time at a cost of £1 per bag. Asked room service for a bucket, ice and champagne glasses which they swiftly delivered. Staff at breakfast were not particulrly helpful. None were English and all tried to avoid making contact with customers either get you anything or collect finished plates ect. Seems to be some confusion as to who is entitled to breakfast and I had to bring down my paperwork which said I was allowed it as they wouldn't take my word for it. Apart from that breakfast was nice, full English or continental. The rooms were spacious, comfy beds, satelite TV, iron and board, however is in need or a little updating in my opinion, especially the bathrooms. |

Excellent staff & service. Breakfast was superb, the restaurant manager was brilliant. The bathroom needs shelves & hooks, nowhere to hang or put anything! |

As hotels go it was ok. Like it because it is so near to the main line station. The staff on reception are not from the uk, so did not always understand what I was trying to say to them. A debit had been taken from my card proir to my arrival, trying to sort this poblem out, on a saturday night was impossible. I had to contact the hotel after I returned home. After paying the bill in full! And 2 telephone calls, (which were not returned as promised) then an e-mail, the problem, which was their fault was resloved. With a sorry. |

The Hotel staff were helpful and efficient. There were a couple of problems with the room - the phone did not work so was unable to get a morning call to the room or telephone reception when a bag was put in my room by mistake. One of the light fittings was not working either. |

Staff were helpful and polite. 1. The card-key system was frustratingly dependent upon the knack of swiping it to open the door, which I never mastered and I had to ask other people to do this for me. This was stressful and embarrassing. 2.The area outside stank of urine and it was necessary to walk past drunken, intimidating people. 3.Overpriced: advertised price stated 'Taxes includud' but I was charged 15% vat . (£120.15) for 1 night's stay -no breakfast. 4. There was no bath. 5. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. |

Leaving Terrible hotel. Keys don't work in doors, rooms are drab and highly over priced, the food is shockingly bad- £12 for a limp sandwich, the kind you would find in an independant corner shop at midnight. Condescending staff. I will never stay with the Thistle group again |

Locality We felt that the bedroom facilities failed in that there were two of us in the room, Shower jel and shampoo was supplied for only one and on the second day was not replenished. Tea making facilities very basic. Breakfast expensive and not great choice. |

Decor of rooms was nice, and although bathroom was small there was good size shelf to put toiletries. Lighting good. Very handy for tube. Location was nice and quiet for London. we stayed four days. At breakfast only one morning were we asked if we would like tea or coffee! Other times we waited and had to ask eventually! Also toast arrived on plates! what happened to toast racks?and one morning there was no teaspoons! Obviously nobody in overall charge of breakfasts. Reception staff were very helpful. Computers for guests were not working, we could not access emails. |

The room was small but clean and comfortable. The location, close to Euston station, and a short walk from Tottenham Court Road is fantastic. The service in the brakfast room was unfriendly and almost hostile. |

IT was only a overnight stop in my travels. The room was like being in a broom cupboard, the passage was like a train carriage. |

Close to Euston BR train station and Underground, so convenient for town. Staff were helpful, if a little rushed. Rooms a bit small. The breakfast was very poor - and certainly not worth the asking price. |

I had to book in last minute, because of the tube strike. Having stayed for just one night, I found the hotel to be very efficient and staff friendly. Would definitely stay there again. |

The hotel was ok. I stayed for a weekend only and most of the time i was out. But the room was comfortable and when i was there i had enough rest. Two things basically:a) The bathroom was kind of old even though that it was clean. Comparing it though with the bedroom someone could notice a difference. b) There was an internal door between my room and the room next to mine. Even though that it was locked with no access, the noise from the other room was very annoying. I couldn`t sleep..... |

During my stay at the thistle hotel, I feel the room I was in was really light and spacious. The beds were confortable and the room was kept tidy. Some of the in room amenities were very dated and were in need of modernisation, ie hairdryer, lighting, and bath room...but it would be good to modernise but still in keeping with the vintage feelof the room. |
