Thistle Euston  

The calming ambience which greeted me and my daughter when we entered the building. The very pleasant girls on reception who selected what was one of your best rooms in the hotel (room 280) after seeing that we were exhausted from our trip down. They also suggested great areas to visit and dine at. The reception area was very relaxing being decorated in cool colours and the bar area was very inviting also. We were very pleased with the hotel and the location was perfect for our stay,

Absolutely no complaints - We will stay here again on our next trip to London.

Large comfotable room, ideal for a city break across the road from Euston station and the underground. We use taxi's to get around London as found them cheaper and more convenient than getting the Tube.

8.20Am fire alarm due to contractors working and burning somethjing

It was quite central and parking wasn't too bad.

You cannot check in until 2pm, and when we did go to check in the room wasn't ready. There was no gym. And a donation to a charity appears on the bill with no information about the charity. I asked 3 members of staff to tell me about the charity, and none of them could. PS, I work for charities.

The welcome and help provided by the staff at the Reception desk was excellent.

We booked this hotel for a New Year break and found it perfect for our needs. The rooms were comfortable, clean and very reasonably priced. The location is also perfect; many of the attractions and sights are easily accessible on foot if you don't mind the mile or so walk, although Euston tube station is only a few hundred yards from the hotel which is great when struggling back with all the shopping!

I was on a quick little weekend trip for the holidays and the Thisle Euston offered a good price. The room was a bit small but I didn't need to spend much time in it at all. If you are a person that enjoys a nice hot room or cold room the heating/cooling unit is amazing. They also have a nice little heated towel rack so you can enjoy a nice warm towel when you step out of the shower.

The only thing I would update in this hotel are the elevator'S. One was being worked on when I arrived which was a little unsettling, but when is it not. And they only hold 2 people with luggage. Supposedly they hold 8 people but I wouldn't want to try it. Other then that I had no issues.

Strategic location, value for money and good service.

This is a great value hotel, I requested a refurbished and was thoroughly impressed.

We arrived at the Thistle early however as soon as the staff had a room available we were able to check in!! The staff were very helpful n friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel it self was amazing n I will definitely be staying here again

Ideal location for hopping onto the London Underground. Very large rooms with decent facilities

We had a room where the a/c didnt work and therefore was very cold. We asked for this to be investigated but by the time it had been, it was too late for us to move to another room (which was offered by the hotel). In addition, after our first night, the strip light in the bathroom was blinking rapidly which was very unpleasant - why they couldnt just change the bulb I don't know but again a room change was offered. On mentioning all of this at checkout it was just a case of "sorry" with no offer of compensation e.g. here's a voucher for 25% off next time you stay or "we'll take £40 off your bill for the inconvenience" I doubt we will be staying here again!
