The building is quite grand and the location is very central to everything. Staff were very professional and helpful.
1.There was an issue with the heating (they couldn't turn down and the room was like an oven even with the windows open) so sleep quality was bad 2. The family room was quite small it was a little claustrophobic
I especially liked the fact in our cupboard was an iron and iron board, a safe essentials like that. It would've been perfect if we stayed longer. Definitely worth every bit of our money.
There wasn't much of a view but that's not too bad.
well-equipped and comfort beds. Good location, just next to Exeter central station and high street.
Staff is not that friendly, room is small.
Wi-Fi Bed Room temperature friendly warm staff
Good location, near the main street of Exeter and extremely short walk to the beautiful cathedral! Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Free wifi was fast and easy to connect to!!!
I shared a room with my sister and we are fairly petite in size! We booked the small double room but the bed to be honest is really only fit for just 1 person. You had to sleep like a plank all night or fall off the bed. The hallway/stairs leading up to these rooms felt like we were living in an attic... which I think it actually was?
A good location in the city centre. Helpful staff to deal with the disabled people which is excellent. We would like to come again.
Comfortable bed Great location opposite Exeter Central station and close to city centre Price - paid £85 which was reasonable for Exeter (although breakfast wasn't included)
Overpowering smell of air freshner in the hotel lobby and hallways - gave us a headache and meant we didn't want to spend any time in these areas Noisy hotel - woken up by people getting ready in the morning in adjacent rooms Bit outdated and in need of some TLC Few things broken and in need of fixing e.g. window handle broken so couldn't close it, very difficult to turn shower off, bathroom tile grouting discoloured Outdated TV and lack of proper channel guide
room small but comfortable
.parking area very small no where to park and it advertised parking. bar in the main hotel opposite reception shut could only get drink in the other bar . no water provided in the rooms .Have had better stays at other hotels nearby for similar price
convenience reliable WIFI good breakfast
Road noise and no air conditioning
Location and bar
noisy room below staff quarters. No hot water in room evening or morning. We were moved but we heard other guests complaining "no hot water" the following evening.
shower pressure comfy beds friendly atmosphere
Breakfast, The room, The staff, and the convenient location
Great location in City centre, lovely building packed with character.Attentive staff, good breakfast.
Parking can be an issue,on a busy evening,or when there is an event taking place. In summer, there is no air-conditioning,so rooms can be stuffy and hot.
Location Old building but clean Good breakfast
No lift to the 4th floor - had to walk up from the 3rd No leisure facilities Wifi ok, but not fast
Staff Food Cleanliness Location
Really appreciated the helpful cheerful staff, particularly Rachel on Reception!
Leaving car in car park round corner, though it was locked from 9pm and was perfectly safe - think it was the only car in there! Cant be helped on busy day at the hotel eg wedding
Beds are very comfortable and our rooms as a good size.
Walls were very thin. Could hear the TV in the next room and it kept us awake.
Decor location style of hotel
Staff were friendly
Lack of parking as stated we picked up a £60 ticket 7 mins over the ticket time having bought 3 tickets displayed in the window.
The location was excelent and easy to find. Great for business travelers as close to the Central Station. Had parking as well. Close to main street for resturants and bars.
No Airconditioing in my room juat a fan which in hiogh tempetures would not be enough to cool the room. Suprised a Hotel with this star rating has no Airconditioning in rooms. Would only stay during cool weather therefore. Summer no way.
Fantastic Staff Excellent comfort Very comfortable Room Incredible breakfast
Food and some drink prices were very high.
Very comfortable rooms, excellent location - able to walk out in the evening

Very noisy late into the night outside. Hard towels in the bathroom
