No hot water in the hour before I was trying to get out to an appointment! Reception didn't seem interested and I eventually had a very tepid shower which began to get warmer just as I was getting out of it!

That the hotel was right in the heart of the shopping areas and it was easy to acess buses , taxis etc as it was on a main street. My room was comfortable and quite large. It was also very quiet on the top floor.

I thought the meals in the bar were a bit expensive for their size.

Excellent location for city and good parking.

Premier room was spacious,staff were friendly. Spa facilities were good. Parking being available was a big plus.

Bed sizes. A bit on the small side. Bar prices were high!!

My room was lovely and the bed really comfortable. The pool and spa facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent.

The gym was extremely hot and a couple of the pieces of equipment were not working.

The room and especially the very comfy bed and the leisure facilities. Breakfast was excellent value.

Situation of my room No 702 - it was very dark . I am used to a lot of daylight and this room was depressing because of the lack of natural light.

Stayed for five nights.Room was only ok, by no means value for money paid; Glad to check-out. I was interupted one morning by two individuals who had strayed from a Football Club Awards cermony, came banging on my door in the mistaken belief that party was continuing there. Service was poor, with one or two exceptions, both in for the breakfast, and in the bar area. Was charged £6.95 for a half portion of the Greek salad, when a full portion cost £8.95, go figure!! Otherwise quality of food and drink was average at best, while prices were excessive. £10 per 24 hr wifi access!!!! On Check out was not asked if I enjoyed my stay, realise now it did not matter.

Our room was very old fashioned.

The decor looked shabby. The rooms looked worn out. The lifts were out of order.

my room backed on to a loading bat and the reversing lorries beeped all night waking me numerous times we were on the sixth floor and only one lift worked we only stayed for onf night and did not recieve breakfast but were charged £99 for each room , i thought it was only £79 still not good value at that rate

Breakfast at £13.95 makes this an expensive hotel

I found it to be clean, friendly & gave a positive atmosphere when you first arrive at the hotel, we usually stay other places but was intrigued by the swimming and gym facilities available which was included in your stay.

There was nothing really negative about my stay.

Excellent service from reception staff, did not spend much time in the hotel but rooms were very clean and very large space in executive room. Nice to have complimentary bottled still and sparkling water in the room. Would definitely stay again.

Everything from great hotel to friendly and helpful staff. Room was big, plenty of space and clean. Didn't eat breakfast so can't comment.

Couldn't work room safe, no instructions - reported twice to reception but no instructions were left for us so unusable.

Breakfast choices are excellent & good quality. Location is great. Toiletries in room great quality. Love pool facility though getting tired in areas.

Mattress was badly stained though comfortable. Room was v warm & (traffic noise not great when window open at night)

Room toilets are cramped plus only 2 sets of towels in a room for 4 persons.

Fantastic service

We found the hotel very clean and comfortable, and the staff very helpful and friendly, although it was a bit of an uphill walk from the city centre, better going downhill. We had a lovely weekend taking in the sights and galleries.

My wife and I found the bathroom extremely cold at all times.
