Staff were very friendly. Food was amazing and a lovely room. Would go back at the same price.

Had a glass of wine spilled over me the first night-no offer of laundry No hot water first morning so couldnt get a shower or bath as was going out for day reception needs to have more details about golf in area The hotel boasts about having a 9 hole course but is only a pitch & put It also says their was a pool but not open again as my family stayed last year and wasnt open

The hotel has nice big rooms - ours had a double bed and a single bed as well as space for a travel cot to fit in.

Can't complain about anything at the price we paid!

We had a ground flor room, but there were no net curtains, so the privacy was not great

Third visit to Menzies Irvine, large spacious hotel with excellent rooms, large public spaces. Great food, staff and location just outside Irvine town centre but ideal for local golf courses and visiting Irvine and other nearby Ayrshire locations.

Relaxed. Enjoyed our stay.

Rather warm in the hotel, bedroom too warm, window had to stay open throughout trip. Smell of bleach on arrival in room.

Friendly staff and great location for playing golf.Very comfortable.

Housekeeping staff found some softer feather pillows when we requested them.

The quality of the tea. It tasted as if it was made with water from some kind of boiler which had been on all day, instead of freshly boiled water. Such small points are important and will influence my choice of accomodation on subsequent visits to the area.

Staff were fantastic - it was our anniversary and a card and bottle of wine greeted us in the room ! Very nice touch and thank you again for the wonderful gesture. Great location within a few minutes of the middle of Irvine

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back - if i were to criticise anything, our room was a wee bit 'tired' but not nearly enough to mention it to the staff. The walls are also a wee bit on the thin side - next door could be heard very clearly in the loo (we turned the tv up a bit when he decidied to use the facilities ;-)

Super big bed and loads of hot water . room heated up very quickly great view over the golf course. Food very good at dinner with lovely staff looking after us .

Why such a huge cold foyer,not at all welcoming on arrival.?????? Breakfast a bit slap dash ,with eggs solid ,toaster not working even after putting bread through twice(warm bread was I all I achieved) Carpets and decor in need of upgrade goodness those carpets are sooooo awful.

The receptionist, Kirsty - was very pleasant and helpful. Check in was very quick and was checking out. The hotel itself was very busy, also very busy in the lounge and bar area unfortunately there was not enough staff and there was a bit of a wait time both for food and drinks.....apart from that everything else was excellent.
