It was close to city centre, and we were recommended this hotel from another couple,we got a good rate when we booked this one.we travel alot to liverpool, but will continue to use the one we have used before.nice staff at reception:-) We were told the restaurant was open until 9.30pm on a saturday, but when we got there to eat and drink it was dark and closed at 8.50pm!!NOT Good on a saturday for a 4 star hotel.... It was a closed arrangement at the normal restaurant,so this one was moved one floor up ,but no food to get.. And we didn`t get coffe filled up exept for 1 out of 4 nightseither!!!!. |

All staff were extremely friendly in a typical Liverpool way - went out of their way to be helpful. Room was well appointed. Good selection at breakfast. Room a little small for the class but that's the fault of the unusual design. |

The location. The breakfast was very good and well laid out. The shower was very good. The room size was dreadfully small for what was described as DeLuxe. There was little room to put down a case, let alone two and there was no stand for a case. The room felt cold. The bathroom smelt and was very small, its floor was very marked. The towel rail position was such that the towels trailed over our sponge bags. The evening meal was only fair. The windows were running with condensation when we arrived and throughout our stay. |

I wasnt too keen ion the staff and the fact that they were requesting payment upfront, yet other customers settled their bills on leaving and others we being sent out to them. Also, not very helpful with various things i requested or asked etc... |

I liked the fact that the room was clean and fresh and all the fixtures were either new or in very good condition. I was worried when they asked me at Reception whether I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room, which usually means they give you a room which smells of stale smoke! But this room was great. Small but very nicely arranged. I didn't appreciate that there was no free internet. It has become so cheap for hotels to offer this and it makes such a huge difference to your stay experience. £7 for one hour of internet use is a little cheeky, if you ask me! |

For a very reasonable price we had a very nice room with a dramatic view across the Mersey. The water was not hot enough for a bath. Upon enquiring at Reception we were told that being a Sunday there was low occupancy and that we should run the water for a long time as the hot water was on a ring main and sourced from the basement. |

I enjoyed the English breakfast which was included in the price and it's central location which meant you were never far from a concert arena or shopping. I could smell cigarette smoke within the corridors which I thought was inexcusable. Furthermore, when ordering room service at close to midnight - I was greeted with a very limited choice of foods where the portions were very small and commanded a tray charge of £5. Two lots of cheese sandwiches along with a beer and coke costing £40 is absolute daylight robbery. |

Close to city center with 5 minutes walk to Liverpool One. With special offers I can recommend this hotel as a budgethotel, but not at full rate. The breakfast was OK and we had a very nice view. I had booked a De luxe Room and thy insisted I got one. De luxe is in that case very small (both room and bath). Hard to move around in the room an it was even a problem placing two suitcases. Had to lean over when sitting on the toilet because of the misplaced toiletpaperholder on the wall. The VO bar is horrible. |

nearby Albert Dock, nice for going out in the evening Breakfast is rather expensive at 14.95 pounds. For making a print out of a boarding pass the charge is 5 pounds |

Comfortable room close to the waterfront, with road signs indicating how to drive to the hotel The staff did not have a clear understanding of what was booked over the internet, and made us feel uncomfortable during breakfast |

The hotel staff were freindly and checked us in straight away, it's also quite central for bars and shopping I thought the food and drink in the hotel was quite expensive so we went out to eat |

Your staff were a delight both reception, dining room including the gentleman where we parked. We ate in the dining room both evenings where we were well looked after. Food was good and the service second to none. |

The rate I obtained from Booking.com is by far the best value in Liverpool. For us, the location was excellent, but it might not suit everyone. The breakfast, although offering a wide choice, is very expensive at £14.95. |
