Everything including breakfast Someone banging on our door at 6.00am in the morning ! however this was no fault of the hotel it was a drunken guest.

The staff were very professional and disciplined but at the same time friendly and welcoming. The public rooms were very stylish and impressive; moreover they were comfortable spaces to inhabit. A special bonus for us was the view (from 11th floor room) of the church spire and the Liver Building; truly remarkable. The room had been hastily cleaned. There was some sticky material on one of the bedside cabinets and the mugs still had tea-stains on them.

The hotel itself in appearance was v good, from outside the design makes the hotel look like a ocean liner coming into dock. To be fair the rooms are quite small, we paid 150 GDP for one nite which is a bit steep, the air con didnt work and no extraction in the W/C left the room feeling damp, I have stayed in a premier inn for half the cost and a much better room was provided

the staff were fantastic. we couldnt gind the hotel car park and member of checking in team jumped in car to direct us. they had great knowledge of city, even advising quickest and chepest route into town centre. We wad staying as we was attending wedding in the crown opposite. when they closed bar at one. all guests can back to thistle to carry on the celebrations til 3am !!! only complaint was windows didnt open so no fresh air and awful condensation on windows.

Location of hotel Being allocated a room between a large male group occupying several rooms.They were noisy and abusive and kept us awake until 5.30am in the morning. Despite complaining, staff were unhelpful. We were given a managers number but impossible to contact them. Keep being told not in, ring back. Days later and this is still not resolved. Good location but customer service has put us off staying again.

room/bed noisy residents did not appear to respect the fact that other people were staying at the hotel. Perhaps signs at strategic locations notifying that fact may help.

Ideal for sightseeing as it is right in the city centre and near to most of the important sights. No free wifi .Most hotels provide this facility free of charge these days!!

One small alcove with a computer and free (time limited) access to the internet for a quick e-mail monitoring would be very welcome and more in keeping with your image as a business friendly facility.

i really appreciated the room i was allocated. views from window excellent very clean and tidy street. as i was going to isle of man very good location for morning boat . overall alovely place to spend overnight. all svcs plus breakfast very good thank you.. could not give ant negative views.....

The view from the room was amazing and the staff was very friendly and infomative the whole stay was enjoyable. The firealarm went off while staying in the hotel even though at my age i was not happy walking down nine floors the staff was very alert and made sure everyone was save there was nothing we did not like

Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent. Location excellent. Great views of the Mersey and Liverpool No ventilation in bathroom. Single glazed windows that didn't open in the room so steamed up every time you had a shower! Lost the view of the Mersey!
