The proximity to Gatwick Airport is good as we had an early flight the next day. Breakfast was cold and not much choice. Bus service from airport is only once every half hour and you have to pay - even though you're told in Gatwick that there is a complimentary bus service. Waiter in the pub/restaurant was rude - we ended up walking out and spending our afternoon and evening in other locations within Horley. |

The location is within 10 minutes of Gatwick. The beds are the most comfortable beds, great for relaxing before catching the long haul flight the following morning. The local bar serves good, yet basic, food at a reasonable price. |

Proximity to airport. Handy to have the pub as part of the hotel, giving a choice of places to eat. I had asked for a smoking room &, given that there appeared to be very few guests, was surprised we were not given one, but as we only stayed one night it was ok. |

We couldn't eat at the hotel or the pub next door due to a problem with the gas. The receptionist ordered us a chinese take away which was delivered within 20 minutes and was hot and very good. A big thank you to the young lady who worked on New Year's Day. Although we had a superior room it was very small. |

Staff exceeding helpful in all departments The room was too hot. No account was taken by management that the weather was unseasonably warm but the radiators were left belting out heat. |

The hotel had been recently renovated so the rooms were modern and comfortable The pub part of the hotel is in need of similar renovation and let the overall establishment down |

Rooms are two small. No house telephones in the lobby. Kitchen could not provide breakfast on one of the three days were were there. Charged for a pub meal that we did not order or eat. Limited parking. Told that th breakfast plan did not allow for two eggs. A so called English pub manned by a pole who did not seem toknow what cider was. I could go on but this is depressing me |
