The hotel is run down and dirty. The room we stayed in was horrible and creepy. Would never stay in or reccommend anyone staying in a thistle hotel. I booked the hotel to stay in as i had a mid morning flight at heathrow airport i wish i'd driven from Birmingham in the morning instead, it was such a waste of money staying there and the hotel should be shut down. |

Location, nothing else. They didn't have the booking, wifi not included as shown (£6 for 90 mins!!), mouldy/mildewed and not really clean room, damp room, only one bath towel, peeling paint, very thin walls so can hear everything, no milk/whitener with the tea and coffee, slow and unhelpful reception, parking costs more than stated... I could go on. |

Convenience. Thats all. Terrible looking from the outside, dated rooms, expensive parking and breakfast. Too close to the airport for me (overlooking the runway) but I knew that when booking. |

I made a reservation on-line on Tuesday a.m. and when I arrived late in the evening of Wednesday, the staff was unaware of my reservation. They were able to provide a room that was small, poorly ventilated, seedy looking, and with a telephone that apparently didn't work. |

We booked a luxury double on the internet, but when we arrived at the hotel, after waiting 25 minutes to check in, we were given a twin basic room which stank of stale smoke! We were given another room but this still was not luxury! |

Pleasant outlook from the bar . The view of the airport was spectacular Very difficult to find for the first time visitor. Check in service very poor, only 1 staff member to accommodate 7 or 8 guests trying to ckeck in ' Made 2 phone calls to reception none of which were answered, had to walk down to reception to get my question answered. |

Room was comfortable and clean, with easy access to airport. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity of the airport. Room service prices had an extra charge of £5,00, and bar prices were expensive. No room service menus were found in the room, and the telephone number printed in the room and on the phone for room service was incorrect. |

The staff was very friendly and tried their best, allthough not allways well-informed. They managed to get my a new room in a fully booked hotel.It's convenient if you need a night at a hotel while waiting for a flight. The bus-service was easy and the service good! The check-in was chaotic, my room wasn't made, I had to drag my 50 kilos of luggage up and down the stairs as there is no elevator, we were told the bar would be serving food untill 1 in the morning, but the kitchen had closed at 11 - and noone answered the calls for room service. |

They had a great breakfast included with the price of the room It's a noisy location with garbage collection going on at night on the street below at the back of the hotel. It would have been nice to have a top sheet instead of just a comforter and a wash rag would have been nice too. |

Close proximity for picking up somebody from heathrow airport and overnight parking was free. Restaurant had a good view of the runway and food was excellent and very friendly staff. Would have like to have had coffee facility in the hotel bedroom especially as we were up at 5am. |

No aircraft noise despite proximity to Heathrow. Having booked this hotel because of the parking provision, it was nearly impossible to find a parking place. Check-in was long and slow and then they had no record of my booking. |

Poor service due to being undermanned- poor food service- over 1 hr to wait for a meal is very bad; absolutely expensive breakfast - that the food is poor selection. No assistance with bagage - overal a very poor experience |
