Pleasantness of staff. 1 night is insufficient for more comments. Yes. The fact that the Fire Alarm went off twice during our 1 night stay.I had a long drive down from Scotland and after a night's sleep (which I didn't get) a funeral to attend then a drive back to Scotland. An overheating radiator to a room temperature of 40 degrees C suggests a lack of maintenance. This doesn't normally happen during 1 night. I was a bit concerned though when the night Porter said that, after the 2nd Alarm, he switched the Fire Alarm off completely. |

I had a problem on the first night as the heater regulator had fallen off and was on the floor and thus I was unable to low the temperature in the room as was extremely hot overnight. It was fixed the next day when I reported the fault. TV reception |

Breakfast was nice Requested a double non smoking room and got allocated a twin smoking room. Was told that as I booked through a third party website (booking .com) there was bo guarantee I would get what I requested but this was not made clear at the time. Ended up in a disabled room as this was all that was available that did have a double bed and was non smoking but was very dusty and the bathroom was not very clean. |

the size of the room was much bigger than I have experienced at other similar priced hotels I have stayed in the past. It was nothing i disliked but i would have liked a pool |

Excellent package - price/quality. Very good value for money. Restaurant in particular excels. Just one complaint - was the 'care in the community' type gentleman next door who had to keep opening and closing his door all night and kept us awake. |

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We got a good night sleep and it was close to the airport for our flight in the morning. |

Friendly staff quiet & relaxing. Although the food was nice we thought the restaurant meals were overpriced, we ordered surf & turf which was the most expensive meal & although you only got 2 prawns they didnt even have enough to give us so we got 1 each & they said they wouldnt charge us full price but when the bill came, they charged us in full. We paid before I realsied what had happened so we left it but I think you should certainly re think the price structure or make sure you at least have the stock to justify your charges. |

Bottled water in room. Comfort of room. Garden. Decor. Sunday breakfast. Very poor TV reception. Monday hot breakfast was self service but was cleared away half an hour before end of service. Breakfast choice was small in comparison to continental 4 stars. |

I was particularly impressed with the landscaped gardens at the rear. It was very relaxing and tranquil. The food was rather disappointing, the breakfast was pretty greasy. Even though most of the staff were excellent, there was one female in charge of the restuarant who could benefit in a course in customer care |

The hotel and the room in which we stayed were both very quiet despite the proximity to Manchester Airport. Dinner in the restaurant in the hotel was very good and the full English breakfast was excellent. |

Excellent Hotel, Staff especially good, Carmen (receptionist) took the trouble to check if my elderly Mother was comftable in her room. Staff always polite and helpful. Although 2 wedding receptions took place while we were there, noise was not heard in the rooms. |

Good helpful and friendly staff. As many hotels a complicated and costly internet system. Why do hotels do this? |
