Lovely comfy clean bed. Staff were mostly friendly.

Massive 12"hair in poached egg. Being locked out of room on Tuesday evening, due to stuff up at Reception. Bathroom glass was filthy dirty Bathroom floor was dirty with hair near waste bin. Looks like it never gets picked up or cleaned underneath. Linen could do with a bleach.

Location great. Staff helpful and friendly. Good food and wine.

The room was rather "tired". Retaurant too small.

Excellent location in Marble Arch and close to underground.

Small room size for standard room. It is better to get deluxe or larger room.

Location and cleanliness

Slamming of doors by housekeeper. Booking.com confirmed breakfast requests and the hotel does not know about it and the difference in price quoted by booking.com and hotel.

We liked the location,the large room and the service of the porters, the concierge, and the desk staff. I stayed in the hotel several years ago and that is what brought me back.

Thought the service in the bar was lacking,however after we became known to the bar staff,the service and attention improved greatly. I missed the Glenn Miller music as it used to be in the bar.

I checked in very late past 11 pm. I was tired and exhausted having not sleot night before, staff Henk I think was his name , was very pleasant n listened well , v efficient and upgraded me which was v pleasing.i like that he mentioned I will get a quiet room area. Room 571 :) . Plus v confortAble bed.

The extremely loud fire alarm deafening to the ears. It was far tooo early in the morning for a drill !! ..rushed out of the room without a coat n I was shivering! .. This was a negative n bad experience !. Plus one of the bed cushions was dirty and Stained w .. White stuff.. Probably Semen ! Which was disgusting !

We liked it all. It is centrally located yet quiet,, the spacious rooms, the service, the staff.

Near shopping areas and easy transportation.

The location of the reception is not satisfactory Since frequent failure of the escalator.

Very smal rooms , old and uncomfertble bed.

Location, the room itself is not bad

Too many rooms are located over the heating/cooling system which sits on an internal low roof and is very noisy. You need to know that and to ask for a room that doesn't face this internal roof. The same (noise wise) stands for rooms that face Oxford street

Had to walk about half a kilometre to the elevators! - not a huge issue though.

Lift from ground floor seperate to interior lift to rooms - not great with pram but doesnt take away from a great stay with our young children (2.5 yrs & 2 months)

Our stay at Thistle Marble Arch was enjoyable from A to Z. We consider ourselves to be quite demanding customers, but Thistle Marble Arch even exceeded our expectations. Our room was attractive, spacious, quiet and well-equipped. The beds were of very good quality (twin beds) and we slept well right from the very first night. We had no problems using the Internet with our laptop in the room. The staff were friendly and generally very efficient. The location was very convenient. Considering that London is a rather expensive destination, we felt we got very good value for our money. Definitely recommendable!

There is only little room for improvement. We would have appreciated having a toilet brush in the bathroom and receiving wash clothes ("flannels") with our towels. But these are small things when the stay is as pleasant and successful as ours was.
