The room was airy, comfortable and the hotel was very well situated for going out and exploring the city. It is directly opposite the main railway station, metro, taxi ranks and bus routes. The staff were helpful, polite and very professional. I would recommend this Hotel for a stay in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Better Air conditioning in the main areas is needed. |

The hotel was reasonable price and close to the railway station. Staff were very friendly and pointed me in the direction of places to eat in the evening and held my bag the next day so I could walk about without carrying the extra weight The room set out was such that it was very hard to see the TV from the bed and the channells were very limited. |

waiting outside the door after 11pm for some one to open for you, it would be great idea if the door opened using the same key of your room |

Location, location, location. If its a town centre you want and do not care about staying in the hotel itself this is for you. The room was old, and I don't mean architecture. The walls needed to be painted, the wallpaper needs to be replaced, the holes in the walls need to be filled. If it was a B&B fine, but for £80 per night with no breakfast, I'm sorry that's just unacceptable. |
