The central location was the main reason for booking this hotel. Despite specifically requesting twin bedded rooms we were still given double beds!!! The traffic noise even onthe 5th floor was terrible. |

Handy for station and shops. Bed comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very small. No remote control for tv. Stairs down to room from lift. Carpet not hoovered and very dusty round skirting board. |

The facilities were of reasonable standard and the staff on the whole were friendly and efficient. The location was very good and was excellent for public transport and taxis. The food was of a reasoanble standard. As an aside the hotel did not have my reservation but did manage to accommodate me with little fuss. My room was directly above a function room which was very noisy due to the loud music this did not finish until 1am and as i was getting up early to take part in the great North run i was not best pleased. |

the room was great clean and the bed enormous and very comfortable they put the breakfast on your bill as you go along and then take it off if you have not had the breakfast. I found this a bit distressing when i first saw it and had to go to reception to have it explained to me. they could be clearer on this policy or not do it at all. |

Did accomodate my request for a room in an upper storey, very friendly (cleaning) staff, enough space in single room, plenty of room service facilities, good breakfast That there was not a single possiblity to check the internet, when one has not brought the own computer |

I found the staff were very friendly and were more than happy to help. The rooms were clean and tidy with nice facilities. There is nothing I did not like about staying at this hotel |

Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, location was excellent. Price was reasonable Telephone service poor, I did not get connected when some one called me from outside. Only one towel at atime. Did not change the sheets, although I stayed for 3 nights, TV limited use because of 2 or 3 channels, and was squeezed in between bed and heater |

the staff were accomodating and gave me access to the room at an early hour. The staff were friendly and polite. Although the room was on the smallish side, it was enough room for a single. |

The room was airy, comfortable and the hotel was very well situated for going out and exploring the city. It is directly opposite the main railway station, metro, taxi ranks and bus routes. The staff were helpful, polite and very professional. I would recommend this Hotel for a stay in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Better Air conditioning in the main areas is needed. |
