It was very central to all we wanted to see and do in London. The beds were very comfortable. The lighting was very poor in the bedroom. |

Convienience to theatres, attractions etc Breakfast - we had to ask for coffee and toast. The scrambled egg looked like it came out of a packet. There was a poor choice of fruit and juice. This is our first time at a Thistle and we will not be booking one again. The bedrooms and bathroom needed an update they cant have been done since the 80's |

The location. The room was quiet and very large. The bed was a three places one. The staff was excellent. TV with big screen. The bathroom is awful, very old. Even the moquette was a little bit too worn. The hotel needs a renewal in general. |

Location is excellent. Nice feeling of small, even boutique hotel type. Good staff. No fridge in room. Door lock was faulty. |

The room size was OK for a twin. Had a trouser press, very useful Check-in was 2pm, we turned up at 3,30pm, checked in and found the room was just about to be cleaned, so a trip back to reception.Only one bath and hand towel for two guests. Dirty grouting in the faded bathroom and cold english breakfast for £14.99, very poor value |

The proximity to the West End of London. My companion was allergic is allergic to tobacco smoke so it was a bit unfortunate to be forced to try a smoking room in the first instance. Fortunately this was resolved in the end by a free upgrade though I could not see how the executive room was at all superior to the standard other than the lack of smoke! Also a message reporting delayed arrival of my companion was not passed on. |

Right by leicester square. Room service very fast. Bathroom big. Bed big and comfy. Room was dated. Choice of non-pay TV not very big. Bathroom very dated, toilet seat not fastened on properly. Heating in the room didn't work properly. Windows were hard to open (very old design). Generally i think the rooms need updating. |

In the heart of London’s Theatreland, The Shaftesbury is an air-conditioned boutique hotel with luxury features, free internet access and an excellent location. |
Perhaps the most central hotel in London, located in the heart of the West End at the foot of Oxford Street with the whole of London on your doorstep. |
This hotel is officially London's most central. After its multi-million pound refurbishment, every modern convenience is set against magnificent Victorian. |
This is one of London's best centrally located hotels, on the edge of London's famed 'Theatreland' and close to cosmopolitan Covent Garden. |
