Thee location is excllent and the room comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is ridiculous to charge so much for wi-fi when McDonalds over the road has it free and you can pick up their signal in the lobby. The charge for a late check-out is exorbitant.

The only thing that was good was the location and the reception area. I had a concern when I got to the Hotel, which I must say is not easy to find...and I spoke to a member of staff who became very rude at the offset, and had quite a bad attitude and I felt that she was not very approachable after that. I didnt get her name as I was trying to enjoy my weekend straight away. I felt the rooms were clean but are in dire need of some decorating, there is wallpaper coming off of the walls and the tiles in the bathroom were dirty in between. There was not enough places to hang towels. I go to alot of Hotels and this includes London and I would not recemmend this hotel to anyone the way it is at the moment apart from the location which is fantastic. We asked the staff if they had an idea where a restrurant was located that we had previously booked and they did not know and did nothing to find out for us. The price of £108 was ok for two sharing, a few people in my party had to cancel at the last minute and I am now stuck with the bill for rooms that had only one occupier, and because I got a cheaper deal apparantly there is no way I can get my money back. See above. I had booked seven rooms over the two nights for my friends and did not read in the booking at the time that I would be unable to cancel the rooms after these had been booked.

The location was the only thing good about this hotel. For over £200 a night without breakfast our room was appalling. It smelt, was shabby and grubby with cobwebs and certainly wasn't 4 star quality. Worryingly, we only noticed in the morning that the smoke alarm was covered with clingfilm. We were offered a refurbished room for £30 extra but no way were we prepared to pay more. The photo of a room on Booking.com that we expected to get bared no resemblance of the room we stayed in. We were aware that refurbishment was happening but were shocked at how bad the unrefurbished rooms were.

The room was very clean despite needing refurbishing which I believe is about to happen. The staff were very friendly and helpful I would prefer a choice of food and prices for breakfast rather than a set £10 charge for whatever taken.

Well when we arrived we were asked if we wanted to upgrade, because it was my birthday we said we would, so up we went into a lovely room, 10 minutes later the door went we opened it, standing there was a member of staff holding a bucket holding a bottle of wine, also two glasses, he just said its a gift, and went, we were taken back, it was such a lovely gesture. Great beds so comfortable, and breakfast really good, wished we had booked a longer stay.

Just mainly the location as we attended the Theatre Awards at the Prince of Wales Theatre which was right next door--they are both is same blaock, so location was ideal For a West End Hotel I found the rooms a bit shabby--did not expect to find Wallpaper hanging of the walls and the bathroom very dated

Comfort and space in room. Breakfast was in leisurely surroundings. Food good. Hotel & Bar staff friendly. Receptionist was stressed on our arrival. The corridor leading to our room on the 1st. Floor had a repungent smell. This meant that coming in/out of our room was most unpleasant. The bathroom / toilet area in our room also had an un-hygienic smell. In our opinion your facilities did not match the price we paid for our one night stay.

The location of the hotel wad spot on , smack bang in the heart of west end Although going through renovation , out room was shabby and dirty , mould around the bath and wallpaper coming off the walls , there was no lights and the rooms were very dim , there was no way of opening the window to get in any air to the room , so the old air can was on which was dry and noisy .... The location was brilliant but I see why they need to renovate ..... Not to my expectations

The Staff, were nice ,the location and room was excellent -but !!- we were not told prior or when checking in that refurb work was going on in the floor above us . We were not told prior -or even when checking in that major building work was going on in the floor above . The noise was unbelievable and we had to leave the room until it finished at 6pm . At 7.30 am we were woken by the builders passing the door and the hammering started at 7.45 am and the loud drilling at 8am --you had to shout to make yourself heard . We could have paid less and gone on a lower quiet floor if we had known ! After complaining we were offered just 20% discount . David and Alison -Sheffield

Staff were helpful at all times. The room was good and noise free but not luxurious but that was what we were expecting. Clearly the refurbishment will make a big difference to the rooms. Not ideal to be told there is no hot water on arrival but I had read some very poor reviews on the internet so was not a big surprise The really good thing was that the staff told us that they hoped it would be fixed and it was.
