Menzies Swindon  

A pleasant stay but very short (one night) which we both enjoyed

Not being able to open bedroom windows and no air-con

Staff were lovely. Professional but relaxed. Location for me was superb.

Location for ring road and shops good breakfast good room clean and roomy enough we paid £59.00 for the room and breakfast for 1 night that is enough don't pay anymore

The hotel was not full but as a mature couple I cannot understand why reception staff insist on putting several single lads and some young couples on the same floor who are obviously going to go and enjoy a late night so were woke up periodically between 1.30 and 4.00 am plus constant road noise and we were on the 5th floor

Cleanliness of our room was so disappointing! Dust everywhere and dont think that they hoover the rooms at all as you could see the dirt on the carpet but also you can smell the dust odour as soon as you walk in to the room. 4 star hotel - do not think so!!! I managed to get cheap deal but to be honest I would rather to pay more and choose another hotel!

the room was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. the meal we had was very enjoyable and good value for money.

Eveythink but wish they was a swimming pool lol. It was a fantastic stay and all staff was friendly. Thank you

I booked in and payed, went up to my room and due to unforeseen circumstances I had to leave. I returned down to reception and the duty manger was called. He was really nice and refunded me in full. Thank you.

Very nice hotel,photos of the room are the same as what you stay in,some hotels are not the same as there photos,perfect weekend

This was the third visit to Menzies in Swindon and once again it was a perfect stay for us. The Receptionist was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. The restaurant facilities and staff were also very good. Thank you to all.

a young( i believe to be indian) lady on reception was perhaps the most helpful and courteous person i've come across whilst staying in hotels. my partner had tonsolitis and needed a walk in surgery, the young lady was terrific she even came outside in the rain to point us in the right direction,and offered us an umbrella. the following day i ate breakfast alone i asked a waitress if i could take a yoghurt to our room for my partner again the lady offered to tray it up with a cold drink etc etc and take it to the room i can't thank them enough and thank the the hotel

The staff where excellent very helpful and friendly. It was a great location right in the center of Swindon, the rooms where not large but very comfortable as we where there for 2 nights.On checking out the receptionist asked if we enjoyed our stay , we told her very much but I did tell her about dinner on the first night and she thanked us and said she would pass on the comment, but again I told her we would stay again at the hotel but not have dinner.

The dinner we had on the first night was not what salmon & smoked haddock fish cakes but it was more like with mozzerela cheese and for the price of £18.95 the steak was over priced. The menu for a four star hotel lacked imagination it was more like a pub type menu. Breakfast the first morning was not very good it was luke warm and they had to much scrambeled eggs on the buffet which meant they where to dry and the bacon had also dried up.
