The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. \Breakfast was leisurely though could have been hotter. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bar ran out of tonic ( on a Saturday night?!) and the T.V. too loud but when we asked, it was turned down.

I liked the warm welcome and comfortable accommodation with many little extras. The room was clean, fresh and attractive. The equipment worked and the trouser press and hair dryer were welcome touches. The breakfast staff were not as attentive as I would have expected, given the stand-alone price of the breakfast. I was left standing for over a minute before anyone appeared and then not offered tea or coffee. When they came, my poached eggs were perfectly cooked and very fresh. Lovely.

No water came out of hot tap at all, no hot water in shower. Mentioned it on reception and they didn't seem surprised.

Very comfortable and all facilities were fantastic. Even a butler to let us in at 2:00pm when we got back from a gig!! It was perfect, the only improvement would be extra tea, coffee, sugar and milk etc but that it being picky~!!

Very helpful, very friendly and truly professional staff! Receptionist very friendly and capable, even after working for 12 hours. Lies within a huge construction site (street work). Rooms could need some renovation (especially bathroom). Awkward windows - neither windproof nor soundproof and hard to open.

The staff and food were particularly good. I had no 'problems' which, if you stay in hotels regularly you'll appreciate. It is a comfortable, functional hotel. I would recommend it for single business travel very highly. I can't say it was a massive issue for me, but the room is a little smaller than your 'average' hotel room, and as such might be tight if there were 2 of you staying. The car park that is available is a public one, and as such not the nicest place to go late at night although, again, I am being quite picky to raise this point.

The hotel is centrally located with handy parking (ncp discounted price) The staff are welcoming and friendly. Its an older hotel so rooms and bathrooms are not huge, but are sufficient. It has a aged feel but is still comfortable. If you were paying lots of money you could find things to complain about, but at the price I paid it was a good hotel, and I would stay again.

Its location as near to shops and theatre Room was tiny and very claustrophobic and only 1 set of towels although a couple!! No parking so had to park at nearby multistorey car park. Hotel in general very old fashioned and we wished we had stayed at The Jurys Inn opposite as more modern and had parking!!!

Struggling on this one! Never seen such a small hotel room! Very dated, the hair dryer was out of the arc! No air conditioning so the room was very hot so had to open the window - secondary glazing and window only opened a fraction but was very noisy from the road and road works which seemed to be going on at night. Food was that great, breakfast was cold the one day so didn't bother again. Had room service twice but wouldn't bother again.
