The reception staff were friendly lovely and helpful. In the morning of our stay our hotel phone kept one ringing. It did this about 4 times. We wondered if it was the breakfast staff to make sure we didnt come down late so they could clear up, we wont know this for sure because you cant find out who rang the room. On arrival there was a few pubic hairs in our bath, which isnt good enough. Apart from that the room was spotless. |

Parking only available in a multi storey car park. Hot water system broke down therefore no hot water for 1 night & 1 morning. I reported this at 1700 hours & nothing was done until several hours later & so fault not rectified until late the following day |

Menzies is ideally located in the town centre with the bus and rail stations nearby allowing public transport access to the Cotswolds, Bath and Oxford to name but a few Only a minor point but the exterior is pretty drab with a real 60's design feel. Inside has recently been refurbished to a good standard |

Convenient location, nice rooms, car parking next to hotel. Stayed 2 nights - first night in deluxe room, which had thin walls, dripping tap and buzzing light! Second night in basic double room which had no hot water or no water at all (3 colleagues also stayed at hotel and reported the same). Very disappointing, especially when paying £90 for the first night and £79 for the second! |
