The Tower A Guoman Hotel  

I loved everything about this hotel with a couple small exceptions, staff were amazing, very tentative and helpful and polite always. Facilities were excellent and the hotel was spotless throughout

Only problems were the expense of the drinks in the xi bar and we had a small double room but it really was much too small especially as we had normal sized full suitcases with us. Apart from this though I would stay again. Happy customer

Have stayed before. Nice clean and spacious room. Friendly reception staff. Car Park underneath. Easy to access other parts of London via tube. Brilliant view of Tower Bridge!

The bedroom was too hot and we could not adjust the heating.

The stairways, lobby and corridors

Location & the views from the rooms were stunning either the Tower Bridge or Katernine Docks, handy for Tower Bridge Tube & ease for central & district line, liked all the bars & restaurants on the doorstep & across the bridge. The staff were all really friendly & very helpful The breakfast was superb

The gym was quite small for the size of the hotel

We liked everything about guoman hotel...the room has the best view of Tower bridge...very conveniently located in london....

the ensuite is to small and old fashioned but clean enough!the shower head was so low I had to crouch down alot

Slightly dated bathrooms and decor

The staff were incredibly friendly and the concierge was helpful. We ordered room service after midnight and the service and quality was excellent. The views were brilliant. In this hotel you know you are in London- the location was perfect.

The rooms were very warm and we couldn't open the windows.

The view from bedroom, exactly as requested. Friendly receptionists. Able to check in early, even though only requesting to leave luggage. Good location.

Rather small room. English language of front desk staff, although v helpful was a bit basic with less usual comments/ questions getting blank looks! Very crowded riverside bar, no seating even at 22.00. Very difficult & stiff shower fitting.

Good location, clean.

Our room was a lot smaller than what we had expected given the photos. When we asked for replacement tea bags and milk, we had to wait an hour and a half although being told they would be sent up straight away

Relaxation

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, welcoming, helpful staff...great view of the Tower Bridge.

Staff was very helpful. There there a couple of people greeting and assissting to customers. So, there were no need to wait on line to get assisstance at the front desk if the questions were not related to checkin or checkout.

Hotel carpet. I think the carpet on the room and hollways needs to be replaced.

amazing location, couldn't have been closer to tower bridge. my husbend was in the rowing race around GB leaving from the bridge and HMS president so could not have been in a better location. perfect. right on the water and lovely marina round the back, really pretty, nice restaurants on the water, didnt feel like I was in the centre of london!

such a large hotel means busy at reception so hard for staff to concentrate on your needs eg: opening interjoining rooms took about 5 phonecalls!

The hotel had fantastic views and it was a pleasure to sit in the bar overlooking the Thames. The surroundings were extremely nice and the staff very helpful.

The room I had booked was two single beds and this was not available. Whilst they upgraded the room to one with a view it did mean I had to share a double bed with my niece. Also, one of the light switches was minus a knob and the air conditioning was not working. I do not feel this is acceptable for the price paid and was going to complain in writing, but will do this via these comments. The outside of the hotel was off putting, but once inside we were impressed.

The hotel was in the perfect position to meet up with family.we were upgraded and the view was of the lock from the river and on the saturday morning we chatted to the crew of the royal barge as it was going through the lock to escort rowing boats down the river for a round the uk row.where else could this happen.the staff were excellent and very helpful

The building is a carbunkle next to the tower bridge.but that somehow makes the building

Location, friendliness of staff. Very good breakfast. Overall very good and would be hoping to return later this year if I can find another special offer!

Location excellent, rooms with view of Tower Bridge excellent, close to Tube, car park under hotel best feature.

Can't access rooms until 3pm, lifts a disaster in the morning as too busy, breakfast is a scrum down - 3 dining areas but all with big queues. Thanks to Roy, beverage manager who got us a table when the hostess was doing her best to get us to go somewhere else!

The hotel was over booked on arrival and struggled to accommodate.

hopeless when ordering or settling the bill at reception at the brasserie or lounge. Kept being charged again for items on the previous bill. Very disorganised system, staff friendly but working with a flawed process. Checking in and checking out for a large group was a nightmare. Again the system was disorganised.

Excellent location, lovely clean room and friendly staff. Would stay again!

Would recommend taking your own hair dryer. The one they provide you with takes ages to dry your hair. That's the only negative thing.
