I love this hotel but sometimes it is just costs too much. It is a venue near where we have many evening dinners with my husbands club. I love looking at the river as we are in the boating business. Excellent parking facilities. Drinks in the bar were a bit expensive.

Excellent location, fabulous views from bedroom window. Courteous and helpful reception and door staff. A week prior to our arrival I emailed the hotel letting them know we were coming to stay to celebrate a 50th birthday, one of the hotel staff emailed back offering us a double upgrade and a Tower Bridge view - wonderful service and it turned out to be a great room. Woken up in the early hours on two nights running - one by a very drunken guest lying right outside our bedroom door and shouting to his mate further down the corridor. The next night our bedroom phone rang at 2am with a recorded message telling us about the hotel facilities. When we rang down to reception there was no record of the call or where it came from. The next morning, the Hotel staff did handle our complaint well and discounted our breakfast cost.

We thought the staff were excellent in their attitude and courtesy to guests. We were unable to access our room on time and were allocated almost immediately to another room without question. Very impressed.

The location was brillient! I did request for a view of London Bridge and got Canary Whalf which was ok. The hotel is very grand and is very beautiful, the staff were helpful! The windows in our bedroom were very high so I had to stand on a chair to look outside, it made me feel although I was on a boat. Room service was brillent although a little on the pricey side. I stayed her with my artner but was only given 1 dressing gown and 1 pair of slippers. Our room did not look at all like the pictures the room was still very nice just nto what I expected.

I've read other reviews on here about an upgrade, which we got. Not sure there was much difference though. Room was extremely hot so had to switch off the extra heater they put in the room. Also, couldn't get parking on site as there was a wedding on. Managed to find a car park near by, thanks to the conceirge. Overall a nice stay.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The view from the resteraunt was amazing,it was lovely to have a candle lit dinner and a great view of the Tower Bridge, its something ill always remember. The room I stayed in was very small, and the window view was of offices, if you stay at The tower a Guoman Hotel dont stay in room 288 its very very small and over Priced!!!!

Good location and reasonable price. Cost of breakfast needs to be reviewed as overpriced to local competition.

lovely views and very good bed. The toilet was not flushed when I went to the bathroom. There was no ice cream or sorbet for room service although it was in the menu. A maid woke us up at 8.30am on the saturday asking to clean to the room!!!!

I liked absolutely nothing about the Guoman Hotel. Staff were horrific; did not get one thing right. Locked us out of our rooms repeatedly. Lost our booking half way through our stay. Unprofessional, shoddy, clueless. Manageress was equally as dreadful. The staff at Guoman ruined my wedding day and I will never get that back.

View from the hotel room was stunning and made my Mother's dreams come true. The long wait for dinner since there was only two other tables sat we didn't understand why it had taken so long (30 mins).

Good location, good breakfast if you buy the £10 voucher from Reception the night before. There was a power cut lasting at least 3hours when we checked in, meant we had to get showered in the dark before going out for the evening. No apology, offer of free breakfast etc or anything. Then on sat night at about 11pm the fire alarm went off. Again no apology.

I loved the river view from my room - an unexpected bonus and I would ask for that room 182 again becuae of that. I liked the breakfast voucher idea especially as I was not bed and brekfast all inclusive. The location was great for me and because of this I would stay there again when overnighting in town. The decor in the room was a little worn - scratches on furniture etc Otherwise it all worked very well - staff were very helpful.
