The only thing is location. Firstly, they offered me to pay additionally 25% to the initially proposed price for staying above the 1-st floor. Secondly, they arranged a fire alarm at 1:30 am without any explanations and excuses. |

Amazing location with on Tower Bridge and St Catherine Docks..I had an excellent time. I found the staff not very helpful and the service room inexistent. |

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great view of Tower Bridge Upgraded to Club room. Still very small double. Recently refurbished however poor quality fixings. Very long queue for breakfast. |

The room and bathroom very clean and had tea, coffee, water replaced when used and hairdryer in bathroom and bedroom with mirrors just where needed. As there were two of us would have been nice to have a second armchair in room as only one provided but that is a very small minus. |

There was no hot water initially but the problem was solved quickly, there was no watercooker and there was no minibar. I've stayed in the hotel before and this was un-Tower-like so I guess it was just one of those days. |

I came across this hotel by chance. I needed to stay in London for 1 night (saturday) and I booked the same day. They did not receive my reservation but when I arrived at the hotel the staff was very kind although it was after midnight and sorted out everything and gave me a room that I'm sure I was not supposed to have according to what I payed. I think it was one of the best and expensive room, with the dock's view, nice furniture, very clean bathroom, where however I would expected more accessories. I can not therefore say a realistic opinion about the quality/price ratio because it was excellent to me thanks to the initial mistake. If they had received my reservation, possibly they would have given me a different and inferior room. According to my experience I don't have negative opinions about this hotel. |

The problems with our up-graded room. Unable to alter heating, towel rail not working, light bulb not working in bathroom. Soap dish hanging off the wall. Shower so stiff it was unable to be turned on. |

I liked the view to the London Bridge and the location. The room was clean, but bed was quite old and a bit smelly. Tired furniture, doors do not open correctly. Empty minibar. |

My letter of compaint dated 4th November to General Manager refers. The stench of stale cigarette or tobacco smoke was overpowering in my non-smoking room! The power point below the window was detached from the skirting board and part hanging out. Room furniture was tired and well worn. Paintwork scrated and chipped in too many places. Computer and telephone wires were strewn in a tatty 'Cat's Cradle' under the desk. There were no tea/coffee making facilties. |

Location is the main thing. Otherwise, the hotel is smart, functional but pretty sterile, like many so called "internationl class" type hotels around the world. Efficient and high standard for business use I guess, but little atmosphere for other types of guests. It is a huge hotel and as a consequence, a long, long walk to the rooms. |
