The staff were very friendly and helpful but remained professional. The dinner was average and should have been much better for this level of hotel. The plate was cold and the food warm but not hot. |

went into bath, visited roman baths, cathedral, touring buses, excellent, can use bus pass for 2 days plus 10% discount with pass at most places,,viewed the ancient houses which were outstanding plus views & coutryside were superb,,well worth the visit,, lodge was very small, more suitable for a single person & not a double room.....2 single beds joined together to make a double should not be classed as a double room,,,,shower, sink & toilet was in a space of 6 ft by 3 ft,,legs were under sink when using the lavatory,,other then the lodge,//,hotel facilities & location was superb,, |

The room, although small in the annexe, provided all the facilities needed - even a comfortable spot to work The extreme cosiness of the bathroom was not a surprise (I had read previous guests' comments, but the dismally slow water flow from the shower (Room 228) was unacceptable |

Idylic location. A good 3*. Friendly staff. The food standard was good and breakfast rated as very good. View from the front superior rooms is good overlooking the river avon. The hotel was located outside Bath with several options available to get into Bath for siteseeing etc. The hotel needs a face lift in the bar and lounge area. The on suite bathroom in the advertised superior rooms are fine for guests of normal statue, if you are on the larger side you will find the shower restrictive due to its small size. Parking may be dificult during busy periods or if your are the last to arrive. |

Fair price and good breakfast/restaurant service, fairly close to city centre. Rooms' furniture dirty, walls stained, toilet tiles mouldy, really narrow toilet, shower head blocked with limescale - hardly any water coming out, room window to corridor to access rooms - had to have courtains closed & subsequently poor ventilation. |

The service in the restaurant and the food were excellent. The location of the main hotel was beautiful. I stayed in a glorified portacabin called a "lodge". Cramped, too cold then too warm by turns, pathetic shower, cramped room and the hairdryer burst into flames. |

Staff were very friendly and although the hotel was a bit tired in appearance the rooms were clean and bed very comfortable with all the usual amenities. Breakfast was lovely and on the whole had a lovely stay with beautiful views over the countryside As stated needs updating in terms of decoration |

The location was lovely with access to river walks and a boat trip into Bath. The food was quite nice, although a little pricey! Staff were friendly. The room was tiny, as was the bathroom. You could barely walk around the bed. Very old style. Mould and mildew in the bathroom. Bathroom was not cleaned daily, despite room being 'made up' daily. Wifi not in bedrooms. Bedrooms were in a motel style at the back of the actual hotel - views to the carpark. Double room was just a twin pushed together - which is ok if you dont get the middle of the bed I guess! |

The booking in and restaurant service were very good. We were well received and my wife did not feel she needed to be apologetic and grovelling because of her need for a gluten free, vegetarian diet. Generally, the decor was a bit dated. |

The room was really small. The double bed was like a super single so its small even for 2 adults. |

the breakfast was good The hotel was nice but the room allocated to me was not what was expected. The toilet facilities were small and the shower was not working correctly and was very slow. the room was away from the main hotel and although it was at discounted price would not have paid the full required price of £138 |

The section described as a "Lodge" would rate as an old 3 star motel in Australia. Very basic! |

Location To be told on arrival that I couldn't eat in the hotel restaurant, and the fact the small, chalet type rooms were very poor, with minute bathrooms. |

Good location for nice walks into Bath along the canal. Room was noisy throughout the night due to the constant rumble of air conditioning plants around the hotel and the walls of the room are so thin one can hear every sound from adjacent rooms.Room was grubby and staff did not changes towels left for changing, just hung them up again to dry after being left in shower tray! Quality of food in the restaurant was mediocre for the price. Got stung for an extra night when checking out early which was quite exasperating! Staff on the whole arrogant and rude! |

lovelly location apart from that nothing Hotel room 102 was the worst room i have ever stayed in bed tiny and so soft we kept ending up in the middle had to ask for extra pillows which the older receptionest was not very nice about. Bathroom was the smallest i have ever seen in a hotel you could not turn round in it only had one towel between two but did not want to go back to reception as the older receptionest not helpfull at all. Our room was on the roadside and was very noisy i think this room was a single and not a double room hotel more like 2 star never worth £190 for 2 nights B&B |

Location was excellent, hotel staff friendly and welcoming. Bar and lounge were comfortable with nice views. Decor very faded. We had an upgraded room which was actually very basic with very worn furniture and poor shower. Toilet blocked on arrival and throughout stay. Unfortunately when we raised an issue about our meal the head waiter argued with us, which gives a bad impression. We felt the customer is always wrong! |

The peace and quiet, the location is on the edge of the city. The rooms are a little tired and could do with refurbishing. |

Nice location on the river, very quiet and relaxing and a nice pub just over the road.Nice friendly staff and the eggs benedict i had for breakfast was the best i have ever had. rooms in the lodge are very small and cramped especially the bathroom where everything has been crammed into a very small space, the heated towel rail has been mounted right next to the toilet and actually touches your legs when your sitting on the loo if it was on you would keep burning yourself and the sink is that close if you bend forward you hit your head on it. if i was to stop there again i would like to try a room in the main building rather than the lodge. |

This beautifully preserved Georgian mansion is set in 24 acres of gardens and parkland, only 10 minutes drive from the M4 motorway and only 5 minutes from Bath city centre. |
Enter an atmosphere of period charm in Dorian House, built of Bath stone circa 1880. It is a fine example of victorian architecture at its most elegant, retaining all of its original features. |
This Georgian building is in Bath city centre, 300 metres from the Abbey, the Roman Baths and Bath Spa Railway Station. It mixes historic character with modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi. |
Bodhi House is just over 1 mile from the centre of Bath and has views over the city. Bedrooms are stylish, spacious and have free Wi-Fi, luxury showers and DVD players. |
