Good,
Score from 1268 reviews
“ Absolutely beautiful surroundings and views. We could walk out next to the river and see sheep in the pasture across it or go or just sit and watch the water rush over the dam area. Lovely. Downtown is a 10 min. drive or you could bus into town. Room was clean, bed comfortable, staff nice, breakfast good and adequate. ”

On the banks of the Avon River, Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has lovely gardens and stunning views of the countryside surrounding Bath. It is on a site that housed a flour mill until 1907. Since then it has been developed into an attractive hotel with fully refurbished rooms, banquet suites, a restaurant, bar and lounge. The rooms offer free tea and coffee facilities, mineral water and quality toiletries. Guests can also enjoy a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an ISDN telephone link. Il Mulino, the hotel’s riverside restaurant, has a unique waterwheel feature and panoramic views. The menu features local, fresh produce, and is also open to nonresidents. Between April and October, a riverboat leaves 100 yards away across the bridge, and takes passengers into central Bath. the overall ambience of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff plus the excellence of the food if travelling over the bridge an extremely sharp turn to the hotel is necessary ----suggest forewarning potential visitors to approach from the opposite direction

The location, the size of the room, the interior design Breakfast: not at the standard you'd expect in a similar location. The insulation of the room, which got colder during the night.

The location was good. The meal was excellent and the service was good. The young girls who served at dinner and breakfast were very friendly andpleasant. We were disappointed that we couldn't get the boat into Bath. The stairs were a bit of a problem with our suitcases. I am very worried as to whether I will get back my money from the night we didn't stay.

Friendly staff, clean room, luxury walk in shower and outlook from breakfast room Not being told in advance that we would be in the annexe, not being warned that there could be a parking problem and being charged for the use of a card for payment....understandable if used for a very small payment E.G.a coffee, but not for a payment in excess of £100

The location was idyllic. If you stay during the Summer months you can take a trip into Bath by boat from just across the bridge which saves you having to drive into Bath.

Location excellent. Staff very friendly. Room service very good. Breakfast very good. Quality of evening restaurant food not up to standard. Room next to service lift, working until after 10pm one evening. Bedding below standard. Only shampoo and one small bar of soap provided in bathroom. Supposed to be superior room with toiletries. Would visit again but check the above first.

Room 119 great view Excellent food in restaurant/good service Good response to shower issue (but really shouldn't have happened) Room 119 really too small for a twin room. Bathroom looked great but shower broke. Hose came away from wall and clearly this wasn't the 1st time
