Friendly staff, comfortable room with a nice view and easy free parking opposite the hotel. Great cooked breakfast and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Extra heater provided as I had arrived from a warmer country...a nice considerate touch. |

The scenery, the staff and also the fact that we were allowed to take our pet dog with us made this trip a fab exoerience. Do not expect 24 hr staff presence, however that is what makes the hotel perfect. You come and go when it suits you. The breakfast was legendary :) |

The room was beautiful, luxury, and comfortable. We could come and go when we pleased. No staff to check us in, had to wait 15mins, breakfast wasn't well organised (got milk, juice, bread roll, jam and 2 bowls - no cereal), there was workmen and we not notified of this, there was no-one there to check us out in the morning. |

Easy going. Non intrusive. Rooms clean. Location right in centre of town. Did not see any staff except for breakfast. Bit impersonal. Some rooms small. |

The Thorlee is very close to the ferry terminal, bus links and taxis (it is a short taxi ride from the airport). The room we had although not with a sea view was very comfortable and was tastefully decorated in a modern style. Room facilities were great, an iron/iron board, hairdryer, flatsceen freeview tv, tea/coffee and bottled water were provided and ensuite shower room/toilet were well apointed. The breakfast provided in the adjoining Stag cafe/bakery was excellent and of good quality local produce. Too sum up we,ll be back. |

Conveniently located near town centre, with parking close by and close to ferry terminal. Shower was not working. Owner on holiday and alternative contact was not able to resolve problem despite putting in a lot of effort. |

It was handy for the ferry and central for exploring the town. Parking was available across the road. We arrived on a Saturday to find a nice enough room etc. However, there were no dry towels issued for the next morning. The dining room is used also as a cafe and deliveries can take place while breakfast is being eaten. |

Convienience to main shopping centre and evening entertainment, very good position for ferry services. Staff very helpful and friendly. Stairs and reception. Stairs very steep to top floor, bell in reception not obvious and it needs a good push to work. |

Rooms were very clean and comfortable , and breakfast was excellent. Room facilities ( Tv Coffee & tea making and bottles of water were provided) very good. From the exterior the hotel looks a bit run-down and there was no one there to grret us , only an envelop on the desk with my name on it . not a big problem tho! |

It was convenient and met my needs(just). Its location is good and the staff were trying their best There was no Management present at any time. The cafe staff (breakfast next door) were very poor quality. |

The room was very nice----clean and airy and the staff were friendly and helpful We do not like a cooked breakfast and found the other options for breakfast were too limited ---no fruit, no alpen and only white toast--there was fruit juice but other than that no healthy options. |

Close to ferry terminal and parking, also good access to town centre, pubs and restaurants Very difficult to get a shower due to lack of pressure |
