Plenty of street parking, plus a carpark (This was in a holiday period). Friendly management - nice breakfast. Room overlooked the carpark and it was a bit of a walk (a mile) to nearest shops/ restaurants. |

Thornbank house was situated in a lovely area, nice and quiet. The owners were very welcoming. My main concern was the electric shower. Could do with putting in a power shower, and also no sky which I was very surprised at, as a majority of hotels and guest houses have this feature now. The cooked breakfast wasn't that great either. |

Location is great...just between Windermere and Bowness.The staff were very helpful and were able to suggest walks and activities in the area that were enjoyable. It should be noted that the noise from the room upstairs was quite evident and woke me up on a couple of occasions! |

Owner was very kind. We had a lot of staff and we wanted to leave our staff there after check-out. They accepted it even they went out. |
