t The menu was very poor. The breakfast which was said to be £7 50 was certainly not worth that and appeared to be the same as the one being served for £4.50 to the golfers. The meal I had on Saturday night was inedible, and I refused to pay for it. Although I did not pay for the meal it was not the way I wanted to spend Saturday night. |

Convenient location. No WIFI !!! In this day and age this would stop me going again. And in the current market it was quite expensive for the quality of room |

Room was comfortable and spacious and the setting / surroundings are very nice. The hotel offers no WIFI or internet service provision and during the stay the kitchens were being refurbished which meant that any meal provision was severely limited. For breakfast i was offered a bacon roll - which is not acceptable when you have paid for B&B |

Peace and quiet of location. On arrival at locked front door of Thornbury Lodge no notice on door advising guests to register in Golf Club Reception. There was a notice at the side of the car park which is easily missed. Only one bedside table lamp. |

Helpful receptionists I did not like having to walk across a dimly lit courtyard, late at night to get to my room - or having to walk over to the clubhouse to get drinks & refreshments to take back to my room. |
