There was absolutely nothing to like or enjoy about this stay. The website and hotel description is nothing like the real thing and I am reporting this to Trading Standards! There was no room booked when I got there, no restaurant, no full english breakfast and no staff to help with my queries. This is a disgrace and shall not be using them again. Do not stay here!

Bed was comfy. Very shabby with black mould on walls beside bed and in bathroom. Peeling paint & unpleasant smell in bathroom also as well as very dirty carpets in hallways. Scalded my hand as kettle was missing spout filter & boiling water cascaded out all over me. Very noisy - doors slamming late at night & early morning. Bad map on website made it look nearer to station than it was and much harder to find.

I booked a hotel with conference room, large room with work desk, telephone and tv in the rooms, with breakfast. What I got was a filthy hotel with very small room, no telephone, no desk, no space, no remote control on the tv, and worst than all, very dirty and filthy. I asked for the conference room that appears on the site but was told there is not any. Breakfast was not included (though in my reservation it clearly said it was), but to be honest I would feel nauseated to eat breakfast in that hotel. I wonder if bookings.com is aware of what is offered in the hotel and I would be grateful if you would refund my payment to the hotel as a compensation for the fact that you sold me something, gave me something completely different. I would also be grateful if you would check this hotel (as you obviously have not) and correct the information on the website

Family run which gave it a cosy familiar feel. Set in a quiet yet central location with ample off road parking to the rear. The main shopping arcade of Peterborough city centre was within walking distance. Breakfast, full fried English, of course, was excellent. The staff were most helpful and attentive throughout my short stay to the point of a friendly handshake and goodbye at 03:30 in the morning at my departure.

My stay was ok the room could have been larger so as to have a sensible chair and desk as i was on course and it would have helped greatly the bar attached was closed on arrival so we struggled to get food and a drink that night also on friday the same nobody told us this on arrival the breakfast was superb though.

The staff were incredibly friendly and it was only about 10 minutes walk from Peterborough station. The room and en-suit was incredibly small. I'm short, 5"3' and struggled to get in and out. The pillows were lumpy and week.

Convenient to the Cathedral which is why we chose it. Some person pacing up and down outside our window talking on the telephone until 3 am and the going inside and continuing. Kept us awake.

It was clean and reasonably comfortable and quiet. Room facilities were ok. Bar on site for evening drinks should you want them and easy walking distance to decent eating houses in the surrounding area. Sufficient parking and easy to find. Had to wait for someone to turn up on reception to check in. There did not seem to be any staff around or on reception at any time during my stay. On 'check out' I had to just leave my key and a note with my number on for them to contact me for payment. Requested early breakfasts and got no response regarding that. Did get an earlyish breakfast but only because the lady doing the breakfasts agreed to do it for me. They are not ideal for business travellers due to this. They advertise a restaurant on site but it is closed and this would appear to be permenant.

The breakfast was very good, a proper builders breakfast. It was freshly cooked. The room was large and clean. The room we had was over the cellar bar where live music was played a little to loudly for our comfort but it did finish at a reasonable time. Would not be suitable for a couple with young children.

The room was clean, spacious and bright. The bed was excellent, and the tv was high quality. Most of the hotel is a time capsule of bad taste decor, but so what - that could be a plus point if you like that kind of thing!
