The cellar bar had a unique atmosphere & the evening meal in the Afro Caribbean Restaurant was excellent Overall the place needs a full refurbishment & a major improvement would be to ensure that all rooms have at least a rail on which to hang your clothes |

The room was comfy and check in and check out were uncomplicated. I visted the bar just before bedtime and bar staff were very friendly. No drinking glass in the bedroom. |

The Hotel was comfortable and clean. The Embe Restaurant downstairs served lovely African and Caribbean cuisine for dinner. Easy walking distance to Peterborough township. |

there was nothing particularly noteworthy putting senior citizens over a sound system is not indicative of good guest planning. Although music finished at midnight the Cellar Bar customers were sitting outside and noise did not cease until 3 a.m.. However there was no problem in being transferred to a less noisy room the next day.Curtains that only needed to be put back on hooks epitomise the lack of attention to detail in this hotel. Guest information concerning times of breakfast was different to that given verbally. |

Friendly staff. The room cost £45 for 2 of us and the cooked breakfast cost £6.50. The room was small but clean. I think this was good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. When I checked out at 10.30am there was no staff around, except for the breakfast chef who did his best to help. |

The full English breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. It was in a fairly convenient location for the purposes of our stay. I did not look at the parking facilities behind if there had been more guests so I cannot comment but we took the last space at the front on two occasions. |

Not a lot, being tired, didn't check the room. The bed was clean though! Small, noisy, broken shower, no bedside light, not very clean. |

There was a slight mix up with rooms on arrival, but this was resolved quickly and without any fuss. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel's restaurant, Embe, serves Jamaican & Caribbean food, which we have never tried. The waiting staff happily guided us through the menu and the food was excellent! Heaven on a plate! Even if you not staying at the hotel, try their restaurant. |

This is a well run budget hotel. It has probably seen better days, but it is good value for money. It is walking distance from the shopping centre and the station. |

The friendly staff The hotel would have been good in its heyday but not needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to life. |

It was close to Peterborough Hospital and the city. However, this did not mean it was noisy even though it is on a main road for traffic into the city. The room was a bit too small. The bed was pushed right underneath the window which meant it was difficult to open and close the winidow. Bedside lamp didn't work. |
