The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Especially Ella. We were also upgraded to a suite upon arrival as my partners' birthday along with complimentary champagne to our room and late check-out. A lovely touch.

The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and I will be back. The service,and attention from the staff was professional, friendly and personal. Especially the receptionist when checking in Friday evening. The receptionist was brilliant- I do not have her name but I would like give a special thank you. She was 1st class and as goes for a first 'meet & greet' she represented the hotel perfect. The stay was short but couldn't have kased for a better one.

When checking out I didn't get an invoice. As I was busy I didn't ask I am sure I would have got one but had no time to wait.

Smell of fried food in lifts, staff trying to charge for breakfast twice, including for the morning before we checked in

I liked the fact that we got an upgraded room when it turned out the ac was broken in our original room. The room we got was a suite! Quite nice. The standards are down a little, and you can clearly see traces of wear and tear.

What I most definitely did not like was the fact that the hotel tried to charge me for a room I had not booked in a name completely estranged to me. This was a very stressful and difficult situation to deal with, especially since the front desk staff clearly did not believe me, and demanded a proof on the transaction confirmation from my bank! How could this happen? They clearly have no order in their papers, or bookings. I would not recomend this hotel to any serious traveller.

Location and the quietness of rooms. Good value via booking.com, but if booked directly v expensive.

It needs updating, a bit tired. Also check out procedure v slow, c25 people waiting on Sunday morning.

The convenient location and the comfortable beds.

The bathroom was small with no separate shower.

Lovely rooms with all the lovely little luxuries you enjoy in a 5 star hotel such as complimentary hot organic drinks, gorgeous toiletries etc.

The building works starting outside we think on a building next to the hotel at around 8:00 on a Sunday morning but that's not the hotels fault.

Comfort & location for this business trip.

My collegue booked this accommodation and amended the booking to request a breakfast and although she received a response to say the instruction had been received I did not receive any breakfast for the 4 days stay!

Location for City meetings , top notch bed !! Towels good as well !!

Lift was slow and quite a walk from lift to my room !!

Very good hotel. The price was very cheap compared to the other hotels with the same level.

The room was a bit cold even though I turned on the heat to the max.

The room was good with excellent toiletries, a large bath and luxurious robe

The key card is required to work the lift and it is very temperamental. We spent a few minutes a day trying to get it to work!

Everything about the hotel and our stay was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, the hotel was lovely and very clean.

Friendly welcome, central City location, attractive room, well-designed bathroom, comfortable bed. Concierge service is first class.

Hotel is hard to find because of the numbering in Threadneedle Street. Tiny gripes only, but the wardrobe doors in room 308 did not close properly so the internal lights were constantly on. The basin was cracked and the plug needed to be mended.
