The hotel is very quiet and relaxing free newspaper with pleasant staff nice bar but closed for private function on my visit well stocked mini bar Location not good, spent £180 on taxis over two days getting to theatre land, and main shopping area, £25 taxi to main line station. Not good for sight seeing other that St Pauls with a long walk to the Tower. At week end many of the bars and restaurants are closed local bars close at 11 |

The hotel was in a great location and the area is lovely and relaxed at the weekend compared to other parts of the City.The room was lovely and the attention to detail fantastic. The bathroom was amazingly spacious and everything in the room seemed to be well thought out - as in the layout of the room. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and very professional. It felt like a safe place and very luxurious. I enjoyed the handmade choccies left in our room at turn down. Yes, the thing that really spoiled the stay for us was being humiliated by being asked to leave the hotel bar. we went in for a drink after our meal in the City. We were served by the barman only to then be asked to leave by the Groom of the wedding party who unbeknown to us was having his reception in the hotel bar. It is always annoying not being able to use the bar of the hotel in which you are staying, but not to be told that you aren't allowed in the bar and that a private party is taking place beforehand so that we are humiliated really spoiled the evening for us and we felt very embarrassed. |

Convenience for east London and the shoredich area. There is a nice sense of calmness and relaxation in the hotel. |

This hotel is amazing! I paid for a Executive Delux room and was upgraded to the Terrace suit! I took my girlfriend to London for a shopping weekend and the hotel made it a very special weekend. The room was exquisite! |

This is a very impressive hotel, traditional building fused with contemporary features. The room (Exec Double) was awesome, huge bed, egyptian cotton, iPod dock, TV, large bath and separate double shower. Made our engagement weekend really special! |

The hotel was superb, we were upgraded toa suite, as they are quiet at the weekend. 5 mins walk and you are in Brick Lane and Petticoat Lane Markets, there is also Spittlefields Market which is full of individuality. You won't find a better base in London. |

The quality of the building and rooms as well as the location though it is v expensive! The staff were helpful as well. Very hard to fimd...i have stayed here before and sruggled to find it both times as did my guests and even taxi drivers. Better signage outside is needed! |

The hotel has a feasy/ancy and well arranged feel to it .We liked it .You can easily stay in the room and enjoy : magazines , candy , movies , comfy bed ,strawberries in the bath , hahaha. the elevators smelled stuffy , but that is really all . |

The bed was very comfortable with loads of pillows. When taking a shower the bathroom floor would flood. Asked for some extra towels for this and got one extra. Booked the Excutive room and i wasn't impressed with the standard i paid for as the room was small, although overall the room was nice. |

Todos os funcionários foram extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis o que nem sempre é regra em hoteis de luxo. Fizeram o seu melhor para agradar ao cliente tal como sucedia em tempos idos. Quarto fabuloso, embora mais pequeno que o esperado e limpeza, conforto e comodidades fora de série. A única coisa que nos bloqueia de ficar neste hotel de novo é o elevadíssimo preço, na nossa opinião demasiado para o tipo de quarto proposto. Na verdade, só podemos dar-nos ao luxo de ficarmos num quarto de hotel devido a uma "prenda" de aniversário de casamento. Também seria de esperar que pelo preço que pagámos o pequeno-almoço estivesse incluído coisa que não aconteceu (mas já sabíamos à partida). |

die Eingangshalle, Sonderpreis Es war sehr wenig los in der großen Eingangshalle, abends war es eher ungemültlich dort, die Bar war nicht offen. Die Lage im Bankenviertel ist für Touristen ganz OK, aber keineswegs ideal |
