Good value meals if you ate before 6th. The bathroom was a good size.
The bedroom ceiling was very low on one side.
The location was brilliant as just outside Hereford, and the B&B was nice and homely. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower didn't work properly.
Me and my wife stayed here for two nights where we ate breakfast lunch and dinner as the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. It's location is very good it's far enough from a town to make it feel like your in the country but close enough to get out and go shopping or see attractions. I would recommend this lovely pub to anyone, and we shall be going back in the near future.
excellent food, wonderful staff. very good menu and prices.
little comfortable seating in the lounge area to relax after an excellent meal.
We needed somewhere local to help move our Son to his new home. It would have been nice to have had an evening meal but we were too late,so settled for a drink. The rooms were lovely, well equipped, tastefully furnished and either en-suite or a private bathroom. Toiletries and tea ,coffee and biscuits and a torch(we were told about the frequent power cuts). Breakfast(full english) was good and juice, cereals on offer as well. Would recommend and stay there again.Very good value and pleasant stay.
Nothing. You would need a car due to its location.
A reasonable cooked breakfast.
A slighty noisy room. Bathroom waste bin had not been emptied from the last occupants. Lack of dressing table and stool to put on make up.
Bedroom clean and good en suite
Nice room, clean and tidy, obliging staff, plenty of parking space, nice old country pub - good fuel station shop just up the road selling fresh veg and fruit, very good range of papers and magazines and normal goods. Breakfast good but limited range of cereals. Overall good value for the price.
Attentive staff. Good wholesome food.
The toilet in need of attention i.e. the rim of the bowl dirty & the need to replace toilet brush & holder. Bleach works wonders!
Old fashioned pub serving food with good ambiance but still very much a local drinking pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful and treated us like royalty. The beer was good and the food excellent pub grub, of generous proportions
Staff & freindly customers. food excellent and plenty of it. good location and access to local facilities, ie Hampton Castle good facilities close by, walking distance Petrol, supermarket, garden centre.
Can't find a real fault
Good food, room spacious and clean, friendly staff
We may have just been unlucky, but our second night's stay was Halloween, meaning music and loud talking continued until 2am. A real shame as otherwise, after our first night we had planned to return.
everything , location, staff, food, bedroom, service, price cant recommend highly enough
It was nice to go to a pub as they were years ago very nice people.the food was lovely.and you could have a chat with out music blasting away.if we are up that way again thats the place I.d stay
Reasonable pub for a stopover.
Plenty parking, comfortable bar and restaurant area. Room very clean, comfortable bed, large shower. Very good evening meal and super full English breakfast included in the price. Definitely would stay again when on business in the area.
Nothing really. Got lost in and around Hereford, but a call to the inn put us in the right direction.
Food and beer
Noise from disco made the room vibrate and very loud Should of informed us that there was entertainment that night
Helpful and attentive staff. Good food, good beer, good night!
Water pipes were very noisy in the morning
comfortable room, good cuisine
Very layed back, nothing to much trouble,
Booking comany,let them down,
Lovely friendly people. Tasty sharing platter in the bar.
Its a bit tatty for the money.
I was made to feel welcome and actually shown my room. Good quality clean bedding. Excellent food and service in restaurant. It was very busy with locals and other people who had travelled to it. despite being very busy. Quiet at night.
I would have liked a desk in my room to work at.
Atmosphere. great beers & drinks, Very well cooked food.
Shower & toilet down the landing.
Nice character Inn, low beams, friendly welcome. Good food and service, lovely breakfast!
Room dark and needed a refurb. Shower worked really well but was in need of a good clean. View through the window was disappointing.
