It was nice to go to a pub as they were years ago very nice people.the food was lovely.and you could have a chat with out music blasting away.if we are up that way again thats the place I.d stay
Reasonable pub for a stopover.
Plenty parking, comfortable bar and restaurant area. Room very clean, comfortable bed, large shower. Very good evening meal and super full English breakfast included in the price. Definitely would stay again when on business in the area.
Nothing really. Got lost in and around Hereford, but a call to the inn put us in the right direction.
Food and beer
Noise from disco made the room vibrate and very loud Should of informed us that there was entertainment that night
Helpful and attentive staff. Good food, good beer, good night!
Water pipes were very noisy in the morning
comfortable room, good cuisine
Very layed back, nothing to much trouble,
Booking comany,let them down,
Lovely friendly people. Tasty sharing platter in the bar.
Its a bit tatty for the money.
I was made to feel welcome and actually shown my room. Good quality clean bedding. Excellent food and service in restaurant. It was very busy with locals and other people who had travelled to it. despite being very busy. Quiet at night.
I would have liked a desk in my room to work at.
Atmosphere. great beers & drinks, Very well cooked food.
Shower & toilet down the landing.
Nice character Inn, low beams, friendly welcome. Good food and service, lovely breakfast!
Room dark and needed a refurb. Shower worked really well but was in need of a good clean. View through the window was disappointing.
Friendly helpful staff, good food, comfortable room.
It would have been helpful to have a place to put my suitcase - I needed to move one of the bedside cabinets and use that.
The breakfast was great; staff were pleasant and efficient.
The enormous and noisy extractor funnel right outside the bedroom window, which meant that we couldn't open the window until 9:30pm when cooking had ceased. The room was above the kitchen, with no noise proofing, it was difficult to relax.
The beds were comfortable & breakfast was lovely
A bit noise in the mornings
Great breakfast. Quiet location. Friendly staff.
friendly staff. spacious room. good pub food.
flies in the breakfast room. high hedge of the backyard masked a splendid countryside view
Quiet location - yet close to fantastic garage with forecourt selling such a variety of vegetables. Room was very comfortable, food good, great atmosphere.
Very friendly staff in this quiet location. We enjoyed an evening meal in the pub and found the portions very generous. Staff were very attentive
Nothing for this section of the questionare
Excellent staff, lovely atmosphere all at a very reasonable price.
At the peak of this summer's temperatures, the bedroom was very hot. The kitchen extract by the bedroom window is a shame but for one night wasn't a problem.
The pub is located well, set back from the road and road noise is not an issue. The pub was busy with a good selection of beers, food and attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent served by the owner who was pleased to see you.
My room was described as twin room with own bathroom, the bathroom being down the corridor. This room overlooked the beer garden, which could be noisey. The room was sited directly above the kitchen and adjacent the kitchen extractor fan, this ceased operations at 21.30 hrs. The room was comfortable but slightly dated. I think just replaceing the TV, with something modern and easier to use might do it.
Food, both dinner and breakfast, was really good. Real ales on tap. Room was quite spacious and standard facilities provided. Easy access back into Hereford. Only just off main road but sufficiently so to not get road noise.
We were there on one of the hottest days of the year so the room was rather warm as no air con or fan.
The staff were really, really nice, very helpful and friendly. Bed linen was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We slept very well.Plenty of storage space in the bedroom and the bathroom was a very good size. The food menu was extensive and we enjoyed what we ordered. Overall a welcome break in our journey on such a hot day.
The Inn itself was dark and a bit out dated. Could do with a refurb.
