Very tasteful, attention to detail. Delicious breakfasts, amazing bed, great hot shower can't fault it. Definitely recommending to friends.
Great B&B in a lovely peaceful rural setting. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful with advice on the area and best places to eat. Very large room with seperate living area and well set appointed.
First class facilities. Microwave would be a good addition
Noting to dislike
Absolutely loved it. Stunning garden setting, separate to main house. Fabulous host - very helpful without being intrusive. Delicious breakfasts and helpful tips on where to explore on our bikes. Lovely to have a living space separate to bedroom.
Not many places to eat within walking distance - not the fault of the B&B, but just a factor as we enjoy a drink with dinner, so prefer not to have to drive. Maybe a microwave would be a helpful addition to the 'kitchen'?
What a beautiful place to stay. The animals and location are just beautiful. So quiet and peaceful with a beautiful breakfast cooked by great host Gill.
Exceptional chalet in quiet New Forest village. The interior is spacious, immaculate and well designed. The good sized bathroom has a powerful shower (no bath) with large, thick towels. A TV and DVD player are also provided, with a selection of DVDs. Unlike some B&Bs, the WiFi signal is very strong. Gill, the owner, is very friendly and being local, very knowledgeable about the area. We took the breakfast option and both English and Continental options were first class. Tea and coffee are provided, with milk and orange juice in the fridge. Parking is not a problem and, being quieter than the southern half of the New Forest, the area is ideal for walking. In the evenings we chose to walk to the nearest of three pubs, The Old Beams Inn, about 15 minutes away (bring a torch). The service here was also excellent. In fact the whole area, including the handy Hockey's Farm Shop nearby, is welcoming and relaxed. Would be very happy to return.
great people, nice and peaceful place, easy to connect for car traveller
Everything! We loved the freedom of having a complete chalet. We appreciated the cake welcoming us on arrival and the miraculous appearance of a second cake when we had finished the first one! The fan provided was much appreciated during the hot nights. Gill and Andy were both very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Three Springs Chalet is far more than a B&B.
Great location , great friendly owner just a shame we could only stay 1 night
Gill was so welcoming and friendly, the chalet was very clean & comfortable. Good choice of breakfasts. Enjoyed our stay so much- can't wait to go back.
Couldn't fault a thing.
Very welcoming host, warm cozy everything & more that you would want, very clean. Well presented and tasty quality breakfast. Lovely views over fields & pretty garden. Brilliant!
Really friendly host! Great bnb and beautiful location. Couldn't recommend more
Wonderful 3 night stay. Separate building means greater sense of independence than some B&Bs. All very clean, smart furnishings, well heated (so no problem for our stay in January 14). Liked the big bathroom/wetroom. Gill and Andy very welcoming, and stored our bikes securely. Nice extras provided - fresh milk, juice, tea/coffee, cake, biscuits - and the cupboards/fridge stocked with plenty of breakfast basics too, in case the amazing cooked breakfast is not enough. Small kitchen (with microwave, no oven) very useful and well equipped. Great location meant we spent the whole time outside (despite the weather...) so that we didn't sample the DVD/book collection as much as we would have liked.
It wasn't clear, from Booking.com, that we needed to pay Gill (cash only) on departure when we had already provided credit card details through Booking.com.
Fantastic location, wonderful owners, very relaxing an absolute pleasure to stay there,
Nothing at all.
Everything was perfect.Spotlessly clean.Super linen and fluffy towels.Everything you need and more.Gill gave us a very warm welcome with tea and cake which was very much appreciated.Great holiday base for The New Forest. Can not wait to go again.
Having to come home!
The Best B & B , private accommodation away from owners house . Gill & Andy where very helpful , friendly through out or stay . wonderful Breakfast every day . Beauitful accommodation.
The best B&B we have stayed in ,lovely warm welcome from Gill, beautiful private accommodation , fantastic breakfast , wonderful garden .
Gill and Andy made us feel very welcome and bent over backwards to help us, such as giving us advice on places to visit and told us a lot about the surrounding area. The breakfast and choice of breakfasts are excellent. We took our 2 border collies and although it cost us a wee bit more for them, it was well worth it. It is very dog friendly. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying at Three Springs to friends and family. Thank you Gill and Andy :-)
The only gripe we have was the way Booking.com described what was available! Basically, it's a bed & breakfast, not self catering. Even though it's a separate building with a living room, bedroom, wet room & kitchen, you failed to mention that the kitchen did not include a cooker. It has a microwave and a toaster, not a cooker! I made the mistake of thinking from your advert that there would be a cooker/oven and took food that can only be cooked on a cooker/oven, which I had to bring back with us. The only other thing is connected to there being no cooker, as it's slap bang in between Ringwood and Fordingbridge. We had to drive to one or the other to get a carry out meal to bring back to the cottage each night, which was somewhat inconvenient. The way Booking.com described it put a dampener on the whole visit. Gill (the owner) was not too happy with it either & felt she had to apolagise to us for your mistake.
location and facilities were superb. Owner was very friendly and welcoming.
