Pick-up service was goood, breakfast

Internet connection didn't work

We were transferred from the airport quickly and efficiently. Full English Breakfast Good. Staff very helpful. Sister hotel - The Cambridge - restaurant called the Kamal excellent. Would definitely return to this accommodation.

They are in the process of extending the building and will have a restaurant and bar of their own in the future which will be good.

It was nice and close to Gatwick and very convenient . We were driven over to another hotel for dinner which was very enjoyable .

I used this hotel for pre-holiday stopover/holiday parking, and it met my requirements. The room, though small was clean and comfortable, breakfast was served quickly and was acceptable, though there was little choice, and the airport transfer was prompt and efficient, as was the pick up on my return. This appeared to be the prime function of this hotel and it performed this function admirably, but would probably be inadequate for a longer stay

It was close to Gatwick Airport, clean & reasonably comfortable. The airport transfers worked well.

Although the price included breakfast, if departure was before 6 a.m., there was no breakfast provided. Other similar hotels leave a continental breakfast in the room, but not Acorn Lodge. Secondly, parking is described as being 'on site', but on which site? We expected our car to remain at the hotel, but were asked for the keys & told it would be parked elsewhere. When we returned, we found our sat-nav was programmed to an address in London we did not know & had never visited. Checking another review site, several people who left cars at Acorn Lodge had issues with the management about the state of the cars when they returned, none of which were addressed. Our e-mail complaint to the hotel received no response.

Prompt pick up from Gatwick in their own shuttle (included in price), comfortable clean room. Excellent meat in sister hotel, transport provided (no cost). Hotel well positioned for Gatwick Airport and offers excellent value for money. Have used the hotel before and will do so again
