Reception staff were very helpful with plenty of local knowledge. The cooked breakfast was done to order and of a very good standard. The Garden rooms need a major overhaul. They were damp and a little smelly with some signs of mold on the ceilings in the bathroom and around the bath.The shower system had major problems with huge fluctuations in the temperature and the pressure that made it impossible to shower without getting burnt or frozen. We asked to be moved into the main hotel block and this resolved most of the problems. The beds were very firm and we found it difficult to sleep well.

This is an excellent hotel: the Garden room was very good value for money. It was no problem for me however the town is just under 2 miles walk which some people may struggle with.

Not much to be honest- we stayed in the Garden Room which was more like a car park room, a real shame, wouldn't use the garden rooms again but may stay in the main hotel at some point if I needed too. Didnt feel it was value for money.

The room was very roomy and comfortable. Decor very tasteful. Staff very friendly and helpful. I arrived eary and was allowed in my room early. This was our second stay at this hotel. We booked b&b the first time and it was great, but we booked room only this time as the breakfast is quite expensive.

Very friendly staff and good facilities. Food was of a good standard. For us the location was ideal. The hotel is tired. The bath was chipped in places and and we understand that a refresh generally is underway for the hotel.

It met my requirements for my visit to Hereford and it was easy to unload my clothes at my room door which made it easy to get ready etc for a social event I was attending . Room was a little cold at times but heating was turned down on closer inspection.
