The room smelt new when we walked in and really had a wow factor, stayed in room 80 in the Berwick suite. Luxurious treat.
NOTHING TO NOT LIKE.
Size of room Soft furnishings in room Sky TV available cleanliness
Bathroom needs to be updated to march the quality of the bedroom
Excellent value and pleasant stay.
Great location in the centre of town.Good signposting to the parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff.Being at the back meant the room was quiet. Did not have breakfast at the hotel as it was ridiculously priced.
Noise due to room location on ground floor next to car park. Carpet and paintwork grubby and shower head needs attention.
good breakfast, location close to the main street
room a bit on the small side, considering how much we had paid
I really liked the location of the inn. It is right in central Market Harborough, and you step out the door to a scenic street with shops and places to eat. It's fun being at an inn with such an old presence and spirit!
I found the pillows a bit thick and the comforter was a bit too warm. That's it for the downside. :)
very comfortable accommodation and flowers everywhere outside. Central location did not need your car. On-site parking. Friendly staff.
The location is great for the town and the service is generally OK. The room size is good for just a weekend stay and the wardrobe size adequate for that time too. Tea and coffee facilities are good too along with water in the room.
Unfortunately the room we were in had a hard bed, you had to push the flush on the toilet several times for it to work and the water pressure in the shower was pretty low.
It was nice to be met with fruit chocolates and biscuits and lots of tea and coffee
Staff very helpful and accommodating Great location and facilities Good food Attractive hotel
Central location , the breakfast and bistro excellent food
Wifi in some of the rooms was poor
Staff polite and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, food very good.
outrageously priced drinks in the bar.
comfortable well adapted old and historic premises, centrally located, helpful and polite staff, good meals with varied menu, very good conference room
very little to criticize but could use improvements as to more variety and more reasonable pricing for non-alcoholic drinks especially diet sodas.
Room & Bathroom modern and a good size. Bistro food was very good and accommodated my Gluten Free requirements.
Trying to get a space in the Car Park. Seemed to get used by non-residents. Got a room in the building at the back of the Hotel which is also used for business meetings. No air con, the room got very hot during the day and needed the balcony door left open at night to cool down. This is not a problem until you here the Church clock chiming every 15 mins - not Big Ben but pretty loud. Shouldn't be a problem when the weather cools down or you have been in the Bistro/Bar.
Friendly staff and very helpfull .
Central location. Comfortable room. Good buffet breakfast. Efficient staff. Very good offer price.
Reception difficult to locate. Entrance to car park hard to find (had to drive approx 1 mile from hotel entrance to car park entrance at rear of hotel). Restaurant on first floor with no lift - difficult for disabled guests.
Location was excellent in the middle of town and we had a lovely lunch. Breakfast was also good and parking easy. The room and comfort scoring would have been higher if it was not for the broken fan in the bathroom. This could apparently not be mended and did spoil an otherwise lovely stay. Ask before you book a room!
The broken fan made the bathroom difficult to use comfortably. Also it would have been nice to have a quiet bar to have a drink. The front bar was very crowded and noisy which is excellent business for the hotel but an alternative quiet place for guests would have been nice. There is a cocktail bar upstairs but it was not in use.
Location was good. Liked the courtyard arrangement for the rooms. Room was comfortable.
Thought the food was expensive for what we got. The grouting in the shower was gross. Needs replacing.
Excellent location, beautiful room and good restaurant. Cleaning staff dis a good job and were very pleasant.
Room was very hot because of the heatwave. Having been used to air conditioning being standard, some nights made sleeping difficult and with the doors wide open the noise from the bars etc. was a problem.
The receptionist particularly was so helpful. Having given me, as requested on booking, a ground floor room, which was newly refurbished with a superb wet room, (I am partially disabled) he then offered to have a table laid in the Bistro on the ground floor for me for breakfast the following day so I didn't have to climb a long flight of stairs to the breakfast room. I thought this was most considerate and I accepted and had a very good breakfast with a charming and helpful waitress, who greeted me by name when I entered the room. I have nothing but praise for all the staff. I would certainly stay there again.
The car park is rather difficult to find! It involves a one mile trip around the towns one way system to access it. It was the hottest day of the year and the rooms have no air conditioning only two very small top windows which were completely ineffective at cooling down the room!
the first mornings breakfast was chaotic with the staff. The second mor ning was fine
Being Central the location is good. The friendly and helpful staff. The room we had was a good size. Breakfast was good value and plenty of choice. :)
We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this hotel again, so sorry nothing to not like :(
A lovely superior double room, both comfortable and attractive. The extra touches, chocolates, shortbread biscuits and fruit, were a delight and much appreciated. The staff were friendly, service was good and the buffet breakfast was good with plenty of variety.
The bathroom, although beautifully fitted, needed some attention around the shower screen and fittings. The seal on the shower screen was dirty and the tile grout in the corners was black. Small flaws that did not detract from our lovely stay but do, nevertheless require attention
