The friendliness of the people and the village feel of the town which still has "proper" shops i.e. independent butcher/fishmonger/baker etc.

Loved this history of the old coaching inn. Market Harborough is a pretty market town surrounded by beautiful countryside. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Have been several times now and will return soon. On this visit our room was above the conference centre where wedding reception was taking place. The party ended promplty at midnight but was too noisy to sleep before that. In fairness, the hotel did offer to change our room so can't complain. Just a note for others to be aware.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, plus they were nice and warm too. The breakfast buffet was superb especially at £7.50/head! Market Harborough is a nice little town and a good base for having fun in the East Midlands.

The hotel was clean, friendly and the dinner was well prepared. The service was professionally slick The breakfast had problems. Black pudding advertised was not available and the hash browns fried bread was dry and over cooked the bacon looked like it had been steamed. Not enjoyable Ques 5 - borderline

The location and layout of the hotel We felt a little pushed away in the back of the hotel. Also I think the room would have been the same if I had chosen standard not superior.
