The Croydon  

The landlady was wonderful and welcoming, and the breakfasts were superb!

Very Welcoming, rooms was great, atmosphere was great during the stay. breakfast was great considering we are all fussy eaters.. Andy could not do enough to please his guests and we all look forward to returning again when we can.. the cost of the stay was great and considering the low cost the quality of the service we received was the best.

the showers was not that powerful (but this is my own opinion only)

I had a two night stay whilst on a bowls weekend and booked The Croydon after reading the reviews, glad I did. When I next return for a stay in Blackpool, The Croydon will be my first choice of where to stay, whether alone as this trip, or with my wife or even with the grandchildren. Highly recommended!

You could not meet a more friendly & attentive couple as hosts. They are so hard working. Nothing is too much trouble.We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone. The breakfast was more than enough to eat and delicious. Thank you Maria & Andy, we look forward to seeing you again.

Very friendly owners, made us feel really welcome. From walking in the Croydon, everything was spotlessly clean and you can tell they take pride in their hotel. Our little boy loved andy and maria as they took the time to talk to him and even had child cutlery which sounds silly but most places don't cater for children in that respect. Great hotel, good location and good price!

Friendly and helpful managers; good breakfast; off-street parking

Very friendly staff, great with the kids. Very clean. Close to tram stop and amenities but quiet enough for sleep at night.

Relaxed atmosphere, super freshly cooked full English breakfast, cleanliness,good WIFI and value for money. Quiet location a bonus for me.

Clean, tidy & functional. The owners were good company and the breakfasts was excellent. It was what it sells itself as. I would recommend it to anyone..

It was situated in the dampest/wettest Blackpool I have ever seen. But that certainly wasn't The Croydon's fault

The Couple who run the hotel were lovely couldn't do enough for you, rooms very clean bedding changed on a daily basis, hotel was very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was lovely well worth the price, the hotel is situated up near the board illuminations and also a 2 minute walk to promenade! Will defos be booking again next year :D

Everything; the owners were lovely, the food was fab, the bed was really comfortable and it was child friendly which was good for us as we have a baby.

The owners Andy and Maria were top class. Very warm and friendly, the type of people you would want as friends.

It was a lovely homely hotel and the hosts were very friendly, helpful and kind. We had a great breakfast with cereals, a full breakfast plus fruit. It was just off the main road so a very quiet and safe location. A wonderful stay. Would recommend it. The best b and b ive stayed in.

No complaints at al but the only thing, no lock in the toilet!

Every single thing. Location and price first appealed as with a young daughter we wanted the quiet end. The hosts were fantastic, home from home, breakfast was delicious. Would never stay anywhere else now :)

Staff where friendly, nothing to much trouble at all. breakfast was excellent for the amount on the plate. (abit small for my liking) but cereal and toast on offer to fill you up. Room was very clean and tidy, pillows where quality not the thin pieces of material you usually get. good all round stay, would return.

The owners could not do enough! The rooms were clean and a nice size. Food was fantastic plenty of choice if you didn't want a full english. Will be going back there for sure.

i like everything about the croydon hotel. when we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by the owner in a very nice way he was a very friendly gentlemen. we were shown to our room and the room was just a nice size for us. the breakfast was brilliant 2.

Very clean and tidy hotel, ideal for our short break with 3 young children.

Very friendly hosts, was made welcome from arrival, took the time to check if everything was ok and didn't mind having a chat with guests, very helpful couple. Good breakfast, clean and comfortable room, nice lounge and sun lounge, good, quiet location, tram stop close by for easy access to shops, entertainment and restaurants. All in all it was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean rooms ,clean towels and linens,good freshly cooked breakfast,nice location,free parking value for money,and exceptionally welcoming owners,down to earth nothing too much trouble,we will return .

Good size room,clean,with fresh deco .Well presented breakfast, beautifully cooked. Warm & friendly welcome from Andy & Maria. They are a lovely couple. Would stay there again when visiting Blackpool again.

We liked the Croyden for it's location away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to be there in a short tram / bus ride. Clean and tidy both inside & out, with very attentive service from the owners. We were also influenced about our Guest House on the strength of reviews, and our visit matched those opinions.

We are not keen on our room being tidied mid-stay, but that is our personal view, perhaps if they'd have asked we would have had the option to say no thank-you.
