Our room was very large as was the bathroom - huge shower cubicle as well as a bath. The room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived a little early for check in but receptionist said it wasn't a problem and our room was ready. Lovely breakfast. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately our order was forgotten so we only had time to eat our starter and had to cancel our main as we were going out. The staff were apologetic and gave us a free drink. £1.50 for a tiny bit of bread was a tad steep! |

Close proximity to the motorway but still far enough away so as not to be a nuisance. We chose the hotel for this reason. We found that the dinner was not of the quality expected considering the price.Every thing else was excellant. |

The rooms were quite spacious. As was the shower cubicle and bathroom. I enjoyed the motorised reclining chair. Convenient - just off M6 next to BP service station. Staff were polite and attentive. The standard of food has vast scope for improvement. £2 service charge for credit card payment is outrageous. In need of total refurbishment. Doesn't justify the 4 star rating. |

Th soup was teh only redeeming factor and the one hotel guest who actually sounded like she cared Internet not working. dated decor. 4*????????? Not likely. but it was cheap so the 2* feel was warranted |

Location, staff Reception and bar need a refurb.Exec room did not have a clock. £2 surcharge for paying by credit card is not acceptable, even the receptionist was embarrased. |

we paid for our evening meal when we finished but on signing out there was no record of this. Also on signing out we decided to pay cash for our room but on reflection of the meal incident i am now worried they still might charge the card othere wise a pleseant stay. |

Superb view from room overlooking river (nearby motorway noise can be imagined to come from a weir). Pleasant decor & high standard amenities. Good food & restaurant service. Bottled water in room was a nice touch. Rainwater penetrated through bedroom window. Tv noise from adjacent room through locked connecting door. Too much fuss over charging restaurant meal to room. Waitress could not explain meaning of "21 day aged beef" item on menu. |

All the Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The standard of the room was five-star - especially the bathroom which was simply outstanding. The traffic noise from the nearby m6 was a minor problem. The breakfast was very nice but some items had gone cool/cold and should have been replaced. |

I had a bad food experience! Inattentive staff - 15 minute wait to pick up my room key. Difficult to find using satnav - postcode covers miles of the same road. No wifi other than subscription T mobile. Ethernet connection in the room, but no ethernet cables, headache inducing Andrew Lloyd Webber showtunes covers CD blaring out on repeat in all public areas. |
