They had one member on staff at night who didn't know how to perate the bar and had to deal with reception and the bar at the same time so couldn't serve us for ages. They ran out of vanity kits which isn't great if you need toothpaste etc

Comfortable room

Breakfast. Service was extremely slow and disorganised. Several people walked out without having breakfast as they ran out of time. I spent over an hour waiting and still had to send my breakfast back as it was undercooked resulting in a just warm breakfast. Very disappointing.

The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful handled disgruntled guests with diplomacy and courtesy.The area was ideal because of the accessibility to the motorway the surroundings and layout were lovely.My daughter and I would definately stay again and would recommend willingly.

Difficult to say it was Easter weekend and the staff were streytched in the dining room although the food was excellent possibly a little expensive.

no tea or coffee facilities in the bedroom, noisy residents in the early hours.

Comfortable for the one night of quick rest on the way to Scotland, after late arrival to Manchester. More 'upmarket' than your usual road-side hotels. Room was comfortable and there was surprisingly little noise from the road into the room.

quiet although within easy access to M6 motorway and beside a major river of the region The Ribble.

My wife and i like the occasional night away just to chill out.We find the hotel ideal,with its friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. The river view was very good and relaxing.

The room lighting was very poor. the lounge and. bar area was cold as if the air conditioner was blowing all the time. Parking was sumtimes a problem
