We had the friendliest welcome from the owners. The rooms were immaculate with lots of thoughtful extra touches (one couple, one solo traveller). Huge selection for breakfast and a great location at one end of Mumbles. Couldn't have been better - highly recommended. |

Very welcoming & easy going hosts; excellent, fresh breakfast with lots of choice - very much appreciated. Very nice, comfortable room. We would certainly come again and heartily recommend it. Only the price; but you get what you pay for - and in this case one certainly did (i.e. very good guest house!). Very glad to have a small fridge in the room, unfortunately it turned out too late that it did not function (sorry! forgot to say when we were leaving). Parking facilities would have been welcome, although the owners did everything they could to make parking possible close to the hotel. |

A comforable, well-appointed guest house with charming and enthusiastic owners. The beds were particularly comfortable and the location was quiet. Happy to stay there again anytime. |

My previous job meant many stays in many hotels and guest houses in Wales. Tides Reach Guest House is without doubt one of the best. Great hosts, great service, great location, high standard rooms and a very welcome eco-friendly ethos. |

The Guest House was on the water edge which was beautiful I would probably book a room with a view next time if I was staying more than one night - however it is right on your doorstep and there is a long walk all the way along the front. Staff were brilliant. Welsh bacon was the best Ive had. |

Warm welcome. Warm room, if small. Very comfortable king size bed. Excellent choices and presentation at breakfast table. Tiny wardrobe made clothes hanging and selection difficult. Rail could be side-on? |

The guest house was over and above expectations. Every need was catered for and the owners were so friendly and helpful. All the rooms were clean, comfortable and attention was paid to detail. This guest house really does deserve its 5 stars, it offers exceptional quality and value for money. I wish that all guest houses could take their lead from this one. A true gem. Thanks for the hospitality |

The Carlton Hotel overlooks Swansea Bay in the centre of Mumbles Village. Many rooms have sea views. The hotel has been recently been refurbished, and all rooms have an en suite bathroom. |
Alexander Guest House is on the west side of Swansea, about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the city centre. The University of Swansea is close by. |
